My cousins told me that those are "the best bottles ever made and they help reduce crying and spit up." I've used them and in my daughter I can't tell a difference. I just use the cheap bottles (it's not like she's going to use them forever) and I just make sure I burp her really good and don't get an air in the nipple of the bottle when she's drinking.

They are expensive bottles, but they can make a big difference if you have a child with acid reflux and other esophogal or stomach issues.
Cereal in the bottle?? Is this the 1970s? I thought everyone knew that putting cereal in formula before a child is old enough to have cereal does not make them sleep any longer and can cause allergies. Plus, putting solid food in a bottle teaches kids that hearty food comes from a cup, not a bowl/plate. Just say no people.

Yes. I used and still use the Dr. Brown's bottles for my son. The first two months my son had terrible gas. I tried mylcon, gripe water, etc and nothing really worked well. Anyway, I tried the Dr. Brown bottles and it significantly reduced the gas and fussiness from gas that my son had. I definitely would recommend.

I used these with my daughter. I did not notice any difference in the amount of gas or burping when I used these bottles or the Soothies bottle. The extra parts in the tubing system (which require special brushes) are a real pain to clean.
Now I use Avent Naturally, which I am very happy with.

Loved them. Used them with both my boys... switched my oldest to them when he was 4 months old, and his colic and gas problems stopped within 3 feedings. The baby started out on them, and never had colic or gas problems. I credit the bottle. My youngest also had reflux, and we tried adding cereal to his bottle to help control it (it didn't help our son, and I read some research about why it may be more harmful than helpful with reflux babies), but these were the only bottles that had a nipple specifically for that.

I've used many kinds, and Dr. Brown bottles are the best in my opinion. They do take longer to wash because their are more parts, but the benefit is less air and gas to your child, which is huge in any parents eyes.

LOVED the doctor browns bottles! A bit time consuming in the cleaning and sterilizing department, but definitely worth the trouble. We barely had to burp our daughter when we used these bottles. The only negative I can say about them is you can not fill them past the fill line. When they say to that line they mean it!!!!!
