My daughters father and I have been together for just about 4 years now. She just turned 1yr. He left us to supposedly better our relationship and his career. he has been gone 4 months now and just barely sent me money. He said he sent $300 dollars but when I got the check it was only $250, we had agreed that he would send $400 but said that he had taken just a bit to buy her a present that he has not yet purchased. I don't mean to sound greedy but I don't have a job. I lost my job when he left because I couldn't afford daycare plus baby expenses. I live with my parents who say that he is an immature guy who only cares about himself. Of course I always try to defend him, but he always lets me down, but for some reason every time I talk to him he convinces me that he is doing every thing with good intentions I feel so damn pathetic and stupid. What do you think? Am I stupid??? Should I try to get full custody of my daughter?

My last period was on the 25th Nov,so i should have been due on the 23rd of Dec,i am now about 3 days late,i took 3 cheap pregnancy test over a period of days and the tests all showed the same,one line was dark and i saw another line that was very faint but it was definately there,two lines means positive,so do you think i am?

I know my hormones are raging. They are doubling very quickly and it could possibly be twins BUT my husband gets upset with me and yells when I am moody. I don't think he knows anything about what I am going through when I am pregnant and its making me start to hate him! I feel alone in this pregnancy (its my first pregnancy).

I hate when he makes plans that involve me without asking me. It drove me crazy. He wanted to bring people over without even checking with me. We have a weird tradition where we serve coffee, food, etc when guests come and I had really bad back pains and was hurt and felt that he just doesn't care about me.

I then cry because I feel bad for the baby that he isn't taking care of me the way he should when I am pregnant and I am starting to hate him!

Help!

I have been feeling unwell (exhaustion) and am mourning my brother and I *told* everyone that I wanted to be alone this Christmas and they accepted that.
I sent my grandsons' presents round three days ago and 'phoned them earlier today to speak to them.
Now my daughter-in-law has just been round here with the boys *knowing* that I could not just shut the door on them on the pretext of "cheering you up".Not only that she allowed the eldest to make a lot of noise and chatter when I said that I had a headache and also had the cheek to ask me if I was eating properly (as if *she* knows anything about that!) and also gave a meaningful look at the cherry brandy bottle that my son bought for me - as if she never drinks!
My son has been called into work and I suspect that she was really after asking me to babysit because she has some party to go to but she wouldn't dare ask as she could see that I was really unwell.
Now she has taken them home to watch television again - her ...

Being on maternity leave after a csection caused us to have money problems that we're still catching up from. He never offers to help with the baby unless I'm obviously stressing, tired, or asking him too. I work all week asked for one day a weekend to sleep in, which he agreed was fair, that was a month ago and I still haven't gotten a break to sleep in as late as I want. He doesn't spend any time with us, he just plays world of warcraft. He says he loves me, and he tells me all the time how he's so shocked that I'm still with him, why do I put up with him.. But he doesn't stop doing all of these things that just make my life harder. My instinct says that he's distancing himself, what do you think? Before I got pregnant it wasn't like this. But we also had money to go do things from time to time. I just want to cuddle on the couch, is that too much to ask? sex is still great though and often.

Took a pregnancy test on Sunday and it read positive. My doc is saying that we aren't gonna do another test so, I'm guessing that there isn't away that this test could be wrong. Right? I have a Regular period which is 28 day cycle and it was three days late and when it came on it was kinda light and that was four days ago and i have been having cramps everyday and felling nausea like i am pregnant i took a test the day my period started but it came on hours later and it was neg and another one three days before my period when i missed it but could i be pregnant?

My daughter is 3 1/2 and has patches of what looks like cradle cap on her scalp. I have been using Selsum Blue on it for weeks and it helped a litte. The patches are coming off and taking her hair with it which is causing her to have a small bald spot on the top of her head. Any suggestions on products to use or insight to what it might be and how to get rid of it.

ok i had a baby boy 5 months ago he was fine and healthy and evrything was great!!!! i got back with my partner and everything was nice for ages until one night i go out with my bf my mom is babysitting and i got a little drunk as you do it was my first time to drink in ages anyway we ended up having unprotected sex i wasnt on the pill because i was waiting for my second period to come so i could get the coil fitted as my doctor had asked me not to have sex until i got it fitted but i didnt think about this when i was drunk !!!!!!! my peiods were so late but i thought it was just because i was worrying and they do take a while anyway so i took a home preg test just to rule it out but i am pregnant and i dont know how far or anything about 10 weeks i think im so embaressed to go to my doctor what have i done!!!!!! i would never have an abortion

One of my employees is a 24 year old woman from Mexico who is about 3-4 months pregnant. She isnt very educated but is very sweet and a terrific worker. She never eats when she is working with me and only drinks water b/c she dis terrified of gaining weight. Im worried because I tell her she needs to eat and she needs more calories. How many calories should she be eating? What should she be eating daily? Is there a website I can go to? She does take a milti vitamen that her Doctor gave her, but she isnt get that much prenatal care. What can I tell her? She is very open to hear me, but I dont know that much.

My 13 year-old stepson came home with a $100 bill and asked his mother to use it to buy a digital camera for his girlfriend. He says his girlfriend gave him the $100 bill for Christmas so he is buying her the camera in return. I think the whole thing sounds fishy and don't really think any 13 year-old girl would give her boyfriend a $100 bill for Christmas. My stepson has a tendency to lie about things.

My solution would be to politely make sure the girl's parents, who we haven't met yet, know about the initial gift and make sure they feel it is appropriate.

His mother's solution is to just trust him and buy the camera and wait for the next thing that doesn't make sense to pop up. She is embarrassed to admit to strangers that she might not trust her son.

This is our first experience with a teenager, but when I was a teenager, we exchanged cassette tapes or maybe clothes, but never cash and never in that amount.

Has anyone else had an experience like this? Any advice?
