My grandson turned 8 months old on Dec. 15 - he was born April 15. He has a lot of teeth, 4 on the bottom and 3 on top. He is being really cranky and drooly so we think his 4th top tooth is getting ready to come through, too. He is the son of my daughter and son-in-law. My daughter began getting teeth early (at 5 months) and had a lot by the time she was 9 months old, too. I am privileged to care for my grandson while his parents work. He was breast fed exclusively until he was 5 1/2 months old. Then my daughter went back to work and began a combination of pumped breast milk and formula. About 6 1/2 months he started on solids. He eats 2-3 solid meals a day, but isn't too keen on anything with chunks quite yet. He likes his Stage 2's, but when we tried Stage 3 earlier this week he spit out anything chunky. We'll try again in a couple weeks. He likes all fruits, vegetables, meat, and cereal we've tried. He started to really crawl about 2 weeks ago and can pull himself up to a standing position in his crib, on the coffee table, and anything else low enough. No cruising along furniture yet, but I think he'll walk before a year. He's a mover and a shaker - likes to be on the go. His sleep habits aren't very consistant. Sometimes he sleeps the night thru and sometimes he's up a few times. Naps aren't too scheduled either and can last 45 minutes - 3 hours long and can happen 2-4 times during the day. He is a very happy baby and loves to "talk", smile, and snuggle.

Mine turned 8 months on the 18th :)...he has no teeth yet. Kolten wakes at night, but just when he wants his passy, not to eat...Kolten doesn't eat solids yet, his tummy can't handle it (he was 2 months early) so we are waiting for that but I don't want to start it too early and hurt his tummy. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks, I LOVE it! It's just so cute! He will be crawling in no time, he he...Happy Holidays :)

Mine is just over 5 months old. She was on breast milk up until a couple weeks ago, then my wife's milk dried up, so now she's on formula, with Gerber Stage 2 foods every once in awhile (oatmeal and pears cereal is her fav.)
