should my sons an daughter visit my brother in Jail? My sons are 11,10,6 and my daughter is 7 . should it be a good idea for them to go vist him. they are not that closed

I had my 6 year old take IQ test at www.funeducation.com ... I read all the questions and he gave me his answers. I was plessed with his result 108 but the test was very hard and it was 200 questions and some of them I didnt even know the answers for...I asked my friend and he didnt know the answers eather. So how do i know that this score is right... My kid is very smart and good.. Where can I have him tested to make sure and do test score is going to help him ? help

She just seems to be getting more, oh what is the word i am looking for, oh yeah BRATTY!!!! She is my only living child, I lost my son to prematurity 5 years ago, so my husband and I do spoil, but I cant take the bratty acting... Now she is much smarter, than a average 3 year old. and alot more mouthy in the sassy department also... I know it is from being around grown ups... Next year she goes to Pre K.. But I need ideas to make her realize, she just cant act any and every way she wants, also, is this normal for 3 year old's......?

everynight before bed my daughter removes her clothes and tosses them on the floor. I have to hunt all her clothes down everytime I do laundry. if I didn't pick them up she would be out of clothes in a few weeks. I done everything from grounding her to making her wear the dirty clothes. still no change, any more suggestions....

I went off the pill bacause me and my husband are trying to have a baby. I was on it for almost two years with very regular periods. I finished my pack the first of november with a period with my last few pills. I didn't have a period in December and it's that time again and I have no symptoms of PMS.. how long does it usually take to get your period regulared back or could I be prego? I've took test but all neg and not sure on one. a friend told me that her SIL was prego for 3 months before it would show on a test.I haven't went to the doctor yet b/c my health insurence doesn't kick in for a few more weekd, I need some insight. Thanks bunchs.

We have tried everything to distract her and try not to make a big deal out of it for added attention. We are so worried because the bruising is getting worse and we are afraid of permanent injury. We are so worried. Even thought of a helmet but afraid that she will choke herself. Any suggestions?? Please help!

My 14 month old has decided that she no longer sleeps through the night. she is now geting up for a bottle twice a night. I'm begining to wean her off the bottle durring the day but she still gets up at night and expects it. At first I thought she was just hungry but now I'm wondering if maby I'm being had? any advice from other Parents would be greatly appreaciated

My baby is 2 mths and 4 weeks. My hubby gave him a little bit of syrup from the canned longans. I scolded him because I know that we shouldn't start baby on anything until he is 6 mths old unless told by pedaetrician. What are the complications if my baby is feed food that we adults eat on the long term? When can he start eating food or drinks that we take?

When should I stop breastfeeding? I don't really like the idea of formula........ When do children stop taking milk? I also don't give my baby plain water because I read up in the net that babies who are breastfeed don't need plain water unless they are taking formula. People have told me that if I don't start baby on plain water he will have refuse it when he grows up. Is it true?

No pacifiers and bottles throughout baby's growing stage? Is it normal?

Have you heard that girls' clothing is getting $l*ttier these days? I mean, I hear of such clothing being able to fit 4 YEAR OLDS!! I recently thought that'd it only be a matter of time before we start seeing it in the toddler department. I think that a few decades ago, clothesmakers couldn't even imagine such clothing on little girls. However, due to the popularity of Bratz Dolls ($l*t$) and the acceptance of such around little girls, such clothing would be made for little girls because the companies know they'll get a lot of $$$. Can you actually imagine someone @ 18 MONTHS wearing that stuff? That could be where we're headed once the public is seduced enough to accept such clothing around toddlers, then, shezam! Babies get robbed of their innocence and the companies will produce such things due to demand and $$$.

I'd say that we should boycott such items and maybe even the company, then demand should drop and it wouldn't be worth the $$$ to make such things.

I have never taken birth control in my life. I am 25years old. I believe I first got my period when I was about 13 or 14. My periods have always been pretty regular, usually 29 day cycles with bleeding lasting approx. 5 days sometimes a day less or day more. About 6 months ago, my period started coming about every 25-28days a little more variation. Last month (november) I was approx 6 days late. I believe that the period only last about 3days, but it seemed to be normal bleeding (maybe a little more brown in color). this month if you go by a 28day cycle, I was 2or3 days late. I just started today, and it was a heavy as normal, but it seems to already be slowing down some. I have been having some pretty hard cramps this month that I don't believe I had last month. What could be the causes of this? I have had unprotected sex for several years, but I have not actually been diagnose with infertility. I have no children. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms likethis before becoming prego

I am getting a rash on my inner elbows and my outer armpit area. Also on my stomach..but higher up, more where my ribcage is. They itch and are tiny little bumps. They don't scab or anything like that. I have been also getting these random bumps..that do itch and scab. They almost look like bug bites but they aren't. I have only had a few of them and they are never in the same spot. I know I should go to the doctors..I am in 3 weeks but I want to know what this is and if its serious or normal. Thanks!!

At dinner at my grandparent's house last night (my mother in law was invited) I let it slip that I didn't want anyone at the hospital when I go into labor, and my husband and I would be calling people after the baby is born. Dorothy, my husbands mom, started arguing with me about it. She said that it's her grandchild and she'll be there if she wants to be. When I objected, she told my husband to call her after I've been given pain medication and she'll show up whether I want her to or not. I think that since it's my labor, I should be able to be as comfortable as possible. I can't do tht with my whole family hovering over me during contractions. I want my husband there with me and that's it. How do I get her to listen and respect my decision? I have a feeling that if I let her have her way on this instead of doing what I want, she'll try to take over when the baby's born. She lives 10 minutes away and I don't want to see her in our house every day while we try to get to know our child.

The symptoms that get identified as being fetal alcohol syndrom could just as easily be primal wound related.

I suspect adopters rather like blaming their child's mother for being "unfit" enough to drink excessively, especially if they couldn't carry a pregnancy. Is that why this condition is more prevelant among the adopted?

I know anytime you have sex even being on the pill, there is still the one percent chance of getting pregnant. I have been on the pill for over two years. I have been lucky and nothing has happened yet. I feel completely safe on it. However, my boyfriend goes inside of me every time and I was wondering if anyone out there got pregnant from this? I never miss a pill and take the usual time of the day. Just was wondering how many people have still gotten pregnant on the pill?

Yes, I've asked this before, but I'd like more answers.

My daughter is 15yrs old and she is starting to change I fear for the worst. Her fav. color used to be blue but now it's changed to black ( no big deal) now all she wants to wear is black clothing. She's started listening to these bands: korn, avenged sevenfold, system of a down, greenday, kill hannah, and sum 41. I'm really worried about these bands could you please tell me if they have suicide lyrics or anything I should be concerned about? I'm really worried about her she's stopped hanging out with her old friends and now she has "new" friends that I hardly ever get to see. I've only got to see this one guy named Aaron who wears tight jeans which is really awkward to me he has TO ME longer than normal hair for a guy not like past the shoulder or anything but that's besides the point. Everytime I see him he is wearing these tight clothes. Should I be worried about my daugther please help me with this situation. Thanks, Judy.
