i was just reading a post about smacking ...what does everybody think about smacking..just out of curiosity?i personally dont smack as i find even a slap on the back of the hand has no effect i find taking privilages away and a stern voice is working for my 3... how do ye disciplin(sp)?

I didn't know you couldn't even eat HONEY BAKED HAM when pregnant...it's cooked in the oven? wth can you eat? I'm freaking out...should I go to the doctor incase I contacted listeria...?

I had a section 2yrs ago - and am currently 37+2 with my 2nd child - the last week iv been noticing a burning sensation in my old scar but now its turned into a full on painful burning feeling - its hurting to walk and wear knickers - it also feels worse when im having a Braxton Hick - I have a MW app tomorrow morning but Im really worried it could br the scar rupturing or something - Has anyione else had this?? Please help!!!!!

My fiance and I have been TTC for a few months now. We started out pretty serious about it, and now it's just 'if it happens, it happens'. My problem is that we have been fighting about the stupidest things, all the time. We don't see eye to eye anymore. I try to compromise, but he doesn't want to give. We were having some financial difficulties, but those will solved, so we can start the New Year brand new and start saving for baby. I may already be pregnant, but I don't want a child to have to grow up with our fighting. Do you think the fighting will ease when our money situation straightens out and now that we aren't stressing about baby making? We've been together since high school and we have our ups and downs, but now that I'm ready to settle down, I'm second guessing everything. Please help. And please, spare me the nasty comments (about leaving him, or being irresponsible). We have a good foundation together...I just need advice on how to overcome these obstacles.

Ok i have seen too many questions on here about 13 and 14 year olds having sex getting pregnant i mean seriously that is wrong and kids that age drinking and smoking. Do their parents just not care or what? i am not trying to affend anyone by any means but why are they doing this i am about to have a baby and this scares me about the world out there i know i am only 19 and pregnant but i was not 13 or 14 or even 15 when i started having sex and i didnt have my first drink of alcohol til i was 17 and yes i smoke now i am also of age what is wrong?

My 3 month old is always putting his fingers in his mouth. Sometimes he tries to get his whole fist in there! My hubby thinks he's hungry. I don't. Most of the time he's just eaten. Do you think he could be teething? He's also throwing up a little after each feeding. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Anyone else have this happen with their baby?

It seems like everything is almost off limits while breastfeeding.
no

Salad-any greens
garlic
fish
oranges
chocolate
peanut butter
fried/greasy foods
pizza/tomato sauce
etc.

I love breastfeeding my baby and im not going to stop, I just want some good food ideas that baby will like!!

p.s she seems to be kind of gassy, Ive tried to go to a blan diet, but sometimes I forget what I can and cant have..

I am not pregnant yet. But we are still trying and not giving up hope. I am just trying to have some names picked out in advance.

The middle name will be Lorene, there is no changing that. Lorene is my deceased maternal grandmother middle name and my deceased godmother first name means bringer of victory which is a part of my grandmother's middle name meaning so it holds importance to me too.

The name Lorene means laurel tree or sweet bay tree symbolic of honor and victory.

So, what name should I choose for the first name? I would like you to include the meanings too.

I have a 6wks old little boy who I breastfed until he was 5wks. We put him on Similac Sensitive because he stayed gassy and fussy on the breast and the lactation specialist told me to go on the caveman diet and I can't do boiled chicken 24/7. For the first 4 days or so he was Great!!! But now he's fussy again and seems like he's not getting enough. He's eating 4oz every 1.5 to 2 hours. Doctor said to put rice in his bottle, which I don't have a problem with but I wanted to get some more advice. Thanks for your help.

hiim 16 and i think i might be pregant by a horrible ex-boyfriend okay me and my ex had sex on the 12 of december and he came inside of me but the messed up part about it was i was on my peroid we also had sex muliti times that week and we aslo came in side of me those times all of which i remained on my cycle then the following week i got off of my cycle we still were ########## and he came all those times to so america am i pregant???????????????

I am almost 8 weeks along and with my other 2 kids I was so sick I could not eat, now with this one my stomach is (literally) growling every 1-2 hours and if i dont eat i get really sick! yea, well i m a teen in the upper years & i have never dated, never kissed (not even on a dare) & never done anything. i m also really inocent kinda, cuz i never look at porn or wanna talk about sex or stuff. mainly its cuz of my realy good morals. but sometimes i wonder if my morals r to much! should i want to kno about this stuff & do this stuff? cuz honestly i get kinda disgusted by talking about it & just want my 1st time to b good.
