I don't think it's out of the normal. Every person is different and morning sickness isnt always just in the morning- -for a lot of women it is "all day sickness". And to go with that it isnt always just the first couple of months, some women feel bad throughout the entire pregnancy. Keep in mind that at different times during the pregnancy, different hormones are fluctuating and you may be having a stronger reaction. During the pregnancy, you body produces about 22 different hormones....yeah, you though pms was bad, try that! Well, I'm sorry you feel bad, but I dont thinks it's abnormal. Stick though it, you are almost there!

I didn't get that sick in pregnanacy, just a bit of nausea. Light headed feeling is not unusual but eat and drink more, as it sounds like not enough blood sugar getting around the body. This is very important as i didn't eat/drink enough a few times and ended up fainting (once in front of the class i was teaching and the other time in the co-op foodstore), so eat and drink plenty. As for the cramps, little light stretches are quite normal, anything harder get to doctors, just to be safe.

Enjoy this amazing experience!

If you are so lightheaded that you can't stand straight I would talk to your dr right away. Same with cramps- I am 15 weeks and have still been suffering from them but no blood and not excessively. If you are call your dr right away. Cramps are your uterus stretching making room for baby!

It's probably only the change in your hormones that makes you feel lightheaded, but I'd get the cramps checked out by your doctor or midwife.

light headedness and cramps are normal throughout early pregnancy. Don't know what you mean by "odd" cramps - but if cramps are severe then you need to contact a doctor because severe cramping is not normal in pregnancy.

I only got light headed, no morning sickness or anything else. You're lucky. Odd cramps are okay to experience, but if they are excruciating, that's not normal.

I was not sick at all during my pregnancy, but I did get very dizzy a few times in my first trimester, almost fainted. Don't think it's anything to worry about but mention it to your OB/GYN

yes its normal your hormones are off. the cramping is your uterous streching for your growing baby. you need to make sure you eat. that could cause your blood sugar to drop which explains the light headedness
