I am getting a rash on my inner elbows and my outer armpit area. Also on my stomach..but higher up, more where my ribcage is. They itch and are tiny little bumps. They don't scab or anything like that. I have been also getting these random bumps..that do itch and scab. They almost look like bug bites but they aren't. I have only had a few of them and they are never in the same spot. I know I should go to the doctors..I am in 3 weeks but I want to know what this is and if its serious or normal. Thanks!!

sounds like excema are you drinking more milk, butter or yogurt than mormal, it is also winter more common to show up in winter. maybe you should get allergy tested, your child might be prone too.

My wife had that at 3 months pregnant as well. The doctor couldn't really diagnose it (he figured it was allergy, so said take some anti-allergy meds/Benadryl). Certainly, some amount of itchiness is quite common in pregnancy (and if you keep scratching, then scabs / rash can easily form). The doctor didn't seem concerned. The rashes disappeared after about a month.

If concerned and persists, go see a doctor. Good luck.

Oh I know it sucks. With my first one I had a rash, it started on my thighs and moved everywhere. They sent me to the hospital, and even did test for syphilis, because the rash moved to the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. They never figured out what it was, but figure it was just from stress. I wanted my pregnancy so much and i found out and told everyone in my family the same day. It was a lot.
Moral of the story don't worry yourself over it, unless you have a doctor that does testing, and says you should worry about it. If your really worried you can go to the emergency room. But I would just call your doctor and make an appointment.
Sorry I know its miserable. They couldn't tell me anything to do for it either, I just had to wait it out.

Don't wait 3 weeks, call your doctor in the morning. rashes during pregnancy can be nothing or they can be very serious. Some rashes can even cause miscarriage. I had a rash on my back (which turned out to be nothing thankfully) but my doctor was upset I didn't call about it right away. I assumed it was normal and didn't think too much of it, but he told me it could have been bad.

If you were 8 or 9 months along, my guess would be that it is probably PUPPS. I don't know whether it "strikes" that early or not, though. You can do a search on it on the net. I had it with my twins. It itches like CRAZY and the only "cure" for it is delivering the baby. Go see you're doctor. She/he is the only one that can tell for sure. If not, get some Benadryl cream. It won't help much, but at least you'll feel proactive. Hang in there.

I had PUPPPS with my son, and it drove me crazy. It could be that, or there are some other rashes that are common during pregnancy.

Look up PUPP ( I think that's what it is). Sounds like it could be that. Check it out. And I hope all goes well.

Congrats!

No question is to little to call the doctor for. this is one i wouldn't worry too much about, but it wouldn't hurt to call anyway. you know your body and if this is something that makes you uncomfortable, call.
