My best friend chews the food for her 1yr old baby, baby has a lot of teeth and all, very healthy baby too, and I don't know why my friend chews food for her, she could use the blender or simply cut the food, but instead she chews it in her mouth and simply does what birds do, spits it in the baby's mouth, hmm I don't feed my kids like that never did, too much germs and it looks disguisting. Should I tell her, or just let her do her thing?

The first day of my last period was last Tuesday. We had unprotected sex yesterday. Is it possible for me to have gotten pregnant that soon after my period? I'm not an expert so I'm not for sure.

I am 38weeks preganant, my due date is on Dec. 18 and just cant wait. My baby move alot when I'm around other people or when I'm alone and thats great. Just when my husban puts his hand on my tummy she stops moving. Sometimes just by him talking the baby stops moving is that normal? Is it because she does not know who he is?

my son is 22.5 months old and he really doesnt say to many words......the only words he says is no, dont, let go, baby, bye-bye, bubble, ball, cracker, (sometimes spongebob, pepe,) says woow, whats that and hello.. i feel he should talking more than this but i've heard numerous times that boys develope later than girls so he will be talking more at a later age. is anyones else son like this or is this normal and does anyone have any suggestions to get him to tlak more?

I accidentally washed a diaper with my daughter's clothes. Now they are COVERED with this horible gel. I'm just sick to my stomach, thinking of having to comb it off of every article of clothes. Her main wardrobe is in that washing machine.

Does anyone have any idea how to get this gunk out of the clothes? I would think the gel would melt and be horrible if it got into the dryer.

Anyone do this before? Any ideas?

I ovulated on Nov 26th which makes me 11dpo. I've been having terrible diarrhea, nipples hurt, and pinches in my stomach in my belly button and abdomen area.

Just for fun I tested with OPK and its positive. Its impossible that I can ovulate just 3 days before my period. Could I be pregnant?

I have no other symptoms.

im pregnant! eeeekkkkk! this pregancy is not planned, I have my hands full with two already. My husband thinks its great but tell you the truth Im pissed! Can somebody tell me why this is a good thing cuz really i feel nothing rihgt now but OMGOD WHAT AM I GONNA DO-my youngest is just about 2 and i hate hate hate being pregnant. I feel so fat and sluggish the whole time and it was so painful the last time. i was soooooo tired. FnA man, i dont really want another baby:(

Hi! I am a nanny to a 1 year old little boy in MN. He is very active, and he seems to not be stimulated enough just playing inside, but it is REALLY cold out! My seven year old has been tested and officially diagnosed with having ADHD. He is currently taking Concerta. He was started on the lowest doseage, and his doctor and I have upped the doseage three times because the lower dosages were having no effect. I have concerns about upping the doseage again. I have also been told by his teacher that she's known of a few students who have been on Concerta with no positive changes either. Can anyone recommend a different brand that has had a positive effect on their child? I would like to have some different options to discuss with his pediatrician on our next visit. My biggest concern is that I do not want my son to become "zombie" like, I just want him to be able to concentrate while he's in school. Any suggestions would be great! Thank You!

We both have good jobs making over 6 figures combined and I understand everyone wants to be prepared for a child but it's here now. He is very firm on how he feels. He wants us to plan and prepare for a child. But it's kinda hard when it's here and a reality now. He tells me if i go through with it he is gone.

So I am pregnant with my second baby right now and my mom was telling me that I should breast feed this baby because the world is out to kill our babies.
Now this is the reason I am saying this, my mom said she seen on the news were they recalled the enfamil formula for babies.
So if any of you use that for your baby you may want to check that out some how.
I know with my daughter that is what I was using when she was younger.

well I will put it buntly, I think someone obviously got offended by a question I posted about on OPINION. Basically i was just wondering why America can't move out of the dark ages, I thought it was all the hate people have to people who are different. than i listed a web site, (not porn or anything explicit) and it was deleted! wtf? why did this happen? I had to delete the question once because people were basically telling me i was an idiot! and so i reposted with a different wording of the question, the 1st try was OMG READ this and the second try was for those of you who will not call me an idiot. really whats wrong with asking people how they feel about the world. howevr perhaps people are spending so much time making other people's lives miserible they are blind to the truth that if we are ever to move forward out of the "modern dark ages" we need to stop killing each other because we are different. (i am posting this here because people wont call me an idiot :) )

There are a lot of questions that ask "what is a good age to start having kids?" And more than half the answers are, or start with "when you are married."

Do you think it makes your relationship more stable? Do you think it means you are less likely to separate? Do you think people cant commit to each other if they didn't promise it at a church?

Marriage does not commit two people. It's just a promise, that statistically will be broken. ...... then will cost a lot of money.

Just curious, why people think marriage = responsibility?

I am a sophmore in college and my best mate here is a freshman and my boyfriend is a senior who I have been good friends with the whole time here. I knew when I started dating him that she went to him with her problems. Well it seems like since we started dating and working around things so we would have more time together she tries to impose on our time by having group chats with us and just plain being there or when its my time with him she has to have private chats about being depressed with him. I really want to know how to deal with this, Hes kinda tired of it and I have tried talking to her but she get so damn whiny and such when i try talking to her about it. Its not fair, we get maybe 10-20 minutes a day of alone time to talk, and on our up coming weekend we plan on it just being the two of us the entire weekend but she wants to hang out and be part of it. Hes going out to sea soon and next weekend is my last time until March to spend the weekend with him.

she just turned 2 and her daycare wont move her up to the 2 year old room for 2 more months. there isn't room for her in there, but they won't be able to help with potty training because there isnt a toilet in the 1 year old room, in fact they sent home the pullups i had sent to begin potty training. what should i do

I read that there are 'no questions asked' places young mothers can abandon their babies, so they'll stop stopping up the toilets at prom. Where are these safety zones? Because my parents are paying way too much attention to my little brother.

I'm not talking about the legal definition; I mean your personal feelings. For example: I was an abused child and I am against corporal punishment. Unfortunately though, once in a while I gave my children a swift swat on the behind when I needed them to calm down and listen. Looking back on it, I wish I had acted differently rather than resorting to hitting. I know that some people believe in corporal punishment; and I don't believe that this makes them bad parents or bad people. I know that they love their kids as much as I love mine. I'm just saying that for me, this was wrong.

Also, I used to know a woman who never hit her kids but would scream obscenities at her kids, calling them names and calling them stupid. I felt then and I feel now that this is abuse.

Your thoughts?
