My hubby washed our son's spiderman comforter the other day, and it had a pull up wrapped up in it! It was TERRIBLE. I just ran it through the wash again, and dried it. There was some dried on goop so I rewashed it and it went away. I would just wash in cold water and dry on low or medium heat and keep rewashing. And take all of the clothes out, shake them, get a paper towel and get as much out of the washer as possible. Good luck

I've never tried this but I've heard that salt will cause the gel to turn back into it's crystal form. If this is true, and I stress IF, you might try taking one of the smaller articles of clothing and put it in a sink of salt water and see what happens.
If it turns the gel back to crystals then maybe you can just rinse them off and be fine.
As far as your washing machine goes, you have to remember that some of that gel is probably still in your machine and could get on subsequent loads of clothes.
You may want to run a couple of cycles without anything in the washer to make sure all the gel is rinsed out of your machine.
If the salt water idea doesn't work then I would hang or lay the clothes out in the sun and let it dry up the gel back to it's crystal form the take the clothes and shake them good and/or brush off the crystals.
I know it's a mess and is going to be a lot of work but then again, you have just given everyone one more reason not to use disposables and switch to cloth diapers.
Good luck.

RE:
Disposable diaper in the washing machine! HELP!?
I accidentally washed a diaper with my daughter's clothes. Now they are COVERED with this horible gel. I'm just sick to my stomach, thinking of having to comb it off of every article of clothes. Her main wardrobe is in that washing machine.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this gunk...

I have never done this, but I would suggest running them through the washer again and make sure the gel is all gone and then dry them. You might end up washing them 1-2 more times, but they should get off of there.

Oh man, that is awful, I can only imagine... you might want to call a few dry cleaners in your area, and bring the clothes in and see what they think and if it can wash off, and what they reccommend. I say try a few, because there might be an easier remedy a money-hungry cleaner won't tell you... I really feel bad for you, I can't imagine if that happened to me. Good luck...
If anything, at least feel better about the fact that babies grow really, really fast, and she'd have grown out of those clothes within a few months... also, you could always rely on second-hand clothes. Man I wish I could give you a whole bag of my daugther's clothes that she's outgrown - in my apartment building, all the women with babies have this clothes exchange, we have kids ranging from newborns all the way up to 4, so we all exchange clothes and stuff.

I would rinse off all the clothes in a tub, to try to get most of it off, but put one of those hair catchers in the drain, because that gel is not supposed to get into the sewer system! Next, rewash them in the machine.
I would suggest not using disposables at all, because they aren't safe for your baby, or the environment, or your budget! You would be surprised at how much you spend on diapers a year! While cloth diapers seem more expensive, they really aren't! Plus, disposable diapers contain polyacrylate gel and are suspected of exacerbating, and even causing, asthma.

Through all the clothing in the tub then pull them out then drain the tub... then I would put on the shower and blast each piece with the shower head then put it back in the washer... (after having the washer run with nothing in it but water and bleach). Good luck

It should dry out into pellets in the drier and flake off. *should*.
I'd try one artical of clothing and see how it does.
If that doesnt work, maybe washing it again with some dawn, just a little bit...
Good grief... what a mess.
