Okay, lately I have been asking many questions about a Barney episode that was one of my favorites when I was little. I had seen it recently on youtube but it was taken off due to copyright reasons. I have just found out today that the episode, titled, "I Just Love Bugs" will be on next Friday in the early hours of the morning. Again, this episode was my favorite to watch when I was little (very nostalgic), so I already decided to tivo it.

Anyways, how should I tell my father that I would like to watch this episode again? I feel quite embarrassed to bring it up and I know he will find out that I tivoed it. So how do I tell him? Basically, how should I approach this subject with him? I am a teenager by the way in case anyone was wondering.

Thanks for your answers!

I am night time breast feeding my 18 month old son. For the past 2 years I have not had a period but since I have started to wein him i just got my first one two Fridays ago it lasted a week until last Friday, I have been off of it for a week and tonight I just started again...I am wondering if this is normal? Is it at least safe? Or do I need to worry? I have never had this happen before and I this is my 3rd child...the others this did not happen with. Any advise or personal experiences would be a big relief. Thanks!

I can't stand that people try to be so unique and different when naming their children. That's not to say that people should all name their kids Aidan, Braeden, Riley, Madison, etc. Those names are tooooo trendy. I'm just wondering why people don't go with nice, normal, real names. I feel bad for the kids that have to grow up with these crazy names.

People always act as if it's devestating that your child is special need's or developmentally delayed. I personally hate hearing "oh I'm so sorry" or Aw that's too bad, or " what's wrong with him?"
seriously, I don't have an issue with the fact that my child is different than other children. I actually feel blessed, God gave me a child that needs special attention, which to me means I am a special person.
My son is not extreme, he has issues that we are dealing with, but even if he was extreme, it would not matter to me.
I would love him every bit the same, if not than more.

I eventually would like to have children.
However i'm extremely afraid of childbirth.. i really can't even express it in words on here. Senior year in high school i remember having to watch a video on childbirth and i ended up having a panic attack and passing out.
I'm not just being a drama queen..
I'm considering adopting, but are you allowed to adopt if you are physically capable of having your own baby?

So, I'm about 4 and a half months postpartum, and I still have not gotten a period, but today and yesterday I spotted, brown though (old blood) and only a tiny bit.
I do not breastfeed and pregnancy is not possible (single mom).

I got a birth control pill pack, which my doctor told me to take on the first day of my period.
I do want birth control, so should I take it now even though I don't have a serious period yet?
If I do, will it stop my period (if I were to get one)?

Also, I have not yet lost the excess 40 pounds of baby weight that I REALLY want to lose.
(I know, it's been 4 months, I should have by now but I haven't).
I know many people who gain weight while on the pill.
I do NOT want to gain more weight, I would rather lose it.. Haha.
So, is weight gain because the pill mocks pregnancy and therefore makes women more hungry, so they eat more? Or is it the actual chemicals that can make the women gain weight?

I know I should ask my doctor these questions, but

...the stare of desperation and bewilderment was so great you couldn't help but ask what was wrong?-and the reply was "I need a job-I hav no where to go and nothing to eat.I tried and no one will help me without my papers." And what if you suggested he/she return to their "home"country" and the reply was he/she didn't hav anyone there and wouldn't kno what to do there either because they hardly speak that language.Would you look the other way and pretend he/she didn't exist? At this moment would you say that-that doesn't happen in our state-so it's not our problem?
If almost all doors are closed to these people-especially these kids-what can we expect it to cost our nation in money and loyalty as time goes by? Is it all wasted talent?
Answer -but remember what ur father-ur Grandfather-and their fathers and grandfathers would say-you think they are wondering what in the hell has happened to the heart of this country? I am ashamed of our federal gov./politicians.

I've told all of my family that my husband and I plan on raising our children with Chirstmas but not with Santa. I see no harm in this as it is over-commercialized, not the meaning of Christmas (family unity & the birth of Christ, to us, is more important) and as it's just become some expected hype, that to me, is more trouble than it's worth. I make my son's life eventful as it is & we have a great time everyday.
My grandma is convinced I'm "robbing him of childhood memories" like thats the only thing in his ewhole childhood he'd have!
There's a Christmas party at her church. She's asked to take him- I've agreed. Here's the thing: I asked her not to have him sit on Santa (I know she wants to take a picture) She's upset, her and my sister, saying that they're going to anyway. That upsets me. This is a personal decision by my husband & I and to have them just try to undermine me like that bugs.
What should I say to her? I've already told her how I feel & it was basically dismissed.

My three year old son has decided to drop his naps for the past 6 months. It is really affecting his behavior but I don't know how to get a child who refuses to nap to do so. Would love him to have a short afternoon nap when his baby sister does. I could get a recharge.

Baby wakes frequently at the slightest noise and will only use a bottle to fall asleep. I would love some tips to get her to sleep through the night without me having to get up and make her bottles. I am getting worried that this problem will continue for months to come when she should be weaning off the bottle. Thanks!

I asked this question last week, & we give her toys to chew on, & she gets a thrill out of biting people so hard that they bleed. She bit me like 4 times just now. I almost cried. She bit my friend (her aunt), & broke her skin & made her bleed. Help! This baby is a possessed devil.

The baby eats NON-STOP if her 17-y/o mom lets her. My friend is 29, & I'm 24. The baby's mom feeds her nothing but fast food, like Jack in the Box, McDonald's, etc. The baby likes to bite & eat. & when she can't bite or TRY to eat YOU, she falls out & throws a huge fit, like as if someone was abusing her.

I'm not trying to brag because I know some people will say I am. But I always gets these messages saying I look like Beyonce! Even in some of my questions, some people answered them just by saying,"You look like Beyonce!" Should I be offended by that? I mean Beyonce is a beautiful girl, but just what she represents is what I can't stand. I do like some of her songs, but I just don't represent the things she stand for. When I grow older, I don't want to be compared to her, because that will mess up a lot of relationships and friendships. Who will I know who to date? Some boys may date me because I look like Beyonce! But I don't want that! What to do!?!

At school this week we had to write an assessment of the other girls in our study groups and anyways I was told I need to work on being a better "team player" and that my personality is strong and I always want to be in charge. How does one become a better "team player"? Why can't they just admit I am a "natural leader" I am 16 and go to boarding school.

Thank you and good day.

Does anyone else have a 4 month old that only wants mommy at night. My beautiful boy only wants me at night. He takes one very short nap during the day, so at night I'm ready for a break. My husband tries to take over, but he just cries. I don't really let him cry too long because I feel he is too young at this point. It is OK and I love holding him anyways, but I just want to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

It's been going on since he was a baby, he's always hated meat. Then we found out he was allergic to nuts, AND legumes (peas, beans etc).
I want to get some protein into this boy but I don't want his diet to consist of bologna and MacDonalds cheeseburgers (the only meat he'll eat. Hot dogs he hates too). Does anyone know of a protein source, natural food (no adult protein bars), that could supply the missing nutrients found in meat? (Without nuts)
