I live in Western Canada and up here we would probably think it sounds sort of hillbilly. Sorry!

Ezekiel .. wonderful name and has very religious sounding ties to it. To be honest the first thing I thought of was the parents are Mormons or Mennonites
I think if I were named Ezekiel I would grow to dislike the name, again because it is overly bearing religious. It also reminds me of the Daniel Boone Days and the early pioneers.
Now, I am not a kid. I am a mom and Grandmom and pride myself on having good judgement.
Mississippi and Ezekiel don't mix if you get my drift !
If you must ...use it as a middle name .

I'm from Missouri
I think Ezekiel might be an old-time name that is coming back. Biblical names are very popular now. Have you considered that he will be called Zeke though? Do you mind that? I think Ezekiel is a good name. If you like it, go with it!

Ezekiel would take second place to either Isaiah or Elijah, if it were my choice. Ezekiel would be abbreviated to Zeke, which I wouldn't care for. Also, the sound of Ezekiel is harsh to me, so I don't care for it. If you prefer a biblical type name, I'd go with something else. Luke comes to mind as a great name!

I live in Canada, and while the sentiment of using a biblical name is nice, it's not a name I'd use. Ezekiel will inevitably be shortened to Zeke, and that just sounds like a hillbilly kind of name to me.

I like it. I live in the Northeast. It's very biblical but recognizable and easy to spell. I feel like I've been meeting a lot of little Isaiahs, Elijahs, and Jonahs lately which means Ezekiel doesn't seem outdated (I think it would have 10 years ago) - and it's a handsome name. Great choice.

I think the name is really unique and pretty nice. The only I might suggest is maybe shortening it to something like Ezeke because you don't want other kids making fun of the name. Kids might make fun of it since it kinda has a girly touch but that's what I think.

I'm in AK and I have just never really been fond of the name Ezekiel. I think it sounds kinda dorky and unattractive.

I live in Philly but originally from the south. I love biblical names but that is not my favorite. I always wanted a boy so I could name him Malachi.
