Can you think of any for my baby #2?

The school they go to are filled with bullies, people that terrorize children who just do not want confrontation or just lonely and considered outcasts. Both my kids are athletic and involved in sports and I've had them to martial arts classes. They recently got suspended from school from beating up some of the bullies that were harassing some of their friends and some of the "outcasts" of the school. I told the teachers that I was proud of them and did not punish my children. I told them what they did was the right thing and told them to continue if they should ever face anymore bullying again. Do you think what I did was right or wrong? Sometimes I feel the only way to deal with bullies is to just give them a taste of their own medicine. I will however make sure my children do not abuse this privilege and become bullies themselves which they have not.

I want my husband to find out what we are having and not tell me I want to have a dinner at a local restaurant and invite all of our friends and family. I want my husband to announce what we are having at the dinner so it can be a surprise for all of us, I was wondering if this is doing too much? And would we be expected to pay the tab..or is it tacky to ask for each person to pick up their own tab?

I´m 33... and still don´t feel the need to have children. In fact I don´t think I´ll ever want any. People say I´m crazy and that I´ll miss out on a wonderful life experience. Does anyone else feel like me? I´ve asked this in the past but I´m curious to know what other people think.

We don't know the gender of the baby, but we've just about decided after much debate on Sophie for a girl and Samuel for a boy - but we're totally stuck for middle names! Any suggestions please? My daughter started being able to do a pee-pee and poo-poo on the potty, on the toilet of our bathroom and in the public restroom.
But when she attended daycare at YMCA last February and she hated it and was scared of staff so much, she also started being scared of the flush of the public restroom.
She will be 4 tomorrow, and she still refuses to do her "business" in a public restroom.
So sometimes accidents happen...
She can do it in our bathroom w/o problems...

How should I tell her that there is nothing she should be scared of...?
No matter what my husband and I say to her, she cries and refuses...

Okay, so I made a huge mistake. I slept with this one guy and yeah, we used protection, but it broke. :( I've had three trusted adults in my life tell me that I'm probably pregnant because I have had severe nausea and cramps the past few days. I came off birth control about 2months ago, last month my boyf withdrew all the time, apart from once. . . the next day i took the the morning after pill. i may be pregnant from his precum during the month. . . would the levonelle(mornin after pill) hav harmed the baby, also i went out one night and drank, could this have also harmed the baby if i am pregnant? and also i felt a bit constipated so took some senoket for relief. im worried that if i am pregnant i may hav harmed the baby. I know that if it turns out that i am pregnant it will be a bit of a shock, but we were irresponsible and understand that. we are prepared to take responsibility and look after the baby. Also i am about 4days late, and i took a test on my due date - it was negative. Am i pregnant? and what are the chances that it could be harmed?

I was doing algebra and she was watching me then she took a pen and paper and wrote down

I just ate a caesar salad for lunch, and upon finishing, I just read something that says pregnant women are not supposed to have caesar dressing because of the raw eggs?? It was a salad from Wendy's and I just looked on the back of the salad dressing packet and the 3rd ingredient listed is egg yolk.
Is this dangerous? What will happen to the baby?

Meaning, if you had an epidural, was your worst pain:
a) the contractions before you got to the hospital and got the epidural
b) during the epidural and delivery (if it didn't work completely)
c) recovery after the epidural wore off

Just curious as to what your experiences were. I'm due in 2 1/2 weeks. thanks!

My baby is due in January and I was thinking of getting a knit photo blanket of the baby for my mother in law for Christmas. So she would receive a certificate for the blanket and once the baby is born receive the blanket.

What is your experience with these? Where could I get one??

My son wouldn't take a nap, I was washing the floor and his 4 year old brother was in the room next door. I went upstairs on a few occasions to tell him to sleep. Then he decided to start screeming and I thought for sure this would wake his brother so I smacked his bottom once but hard. I felt awful... I am a very loving mother however I noticed my dad's intimidating behaviour when I smacked his bottom. I don't want to be a parent who spanks. I believe it will teach him to be afraid and angry. What can I do next time to prevent this? Any advice??
