The danger from eating raw eggs, cheese made from upasteurized milk, other raw foods, and cold cuts is the risk of being exposed to bacteria, such as camphylobacter, listeria, and salmonella. These are bacteria which would make anyone sick, but which can be more serious for a pregnant woman and her unborn baby.
If you don't get sick, then you didn't pick up this bacteria, and you have nothing to worry about. Also, as some of the other answerers have mentioned, it's highly unlikely that Wendy's uses raw egg in their packaged dressing (and if they do, the egg is probably pasteurized, which would kill the bacteria anyway). Even commercially available caesar dressings (Wish-Bone, Marie's) wouldn't contain raw, unpasteurized eggs because they don't want to risk making people sick. If you want extra reassurance, try calling or e-mailing Wendy's to find out whether the eggs in their dressing are raw.
To sum up, you and baby are vastly likely to be absolutely fine! Relax. ;-) I remember getting so nervous about things like that during pregnancy. It just shows you care about your baby and want to do what's best. Best wishes for a happy, healthy pregnancy!

I don't believe all dressings contain raw egg yolk. If you want you can make yourself a Caesar salad with the cheese/ romain/ crutons, and chicken if you like it that way, instead of using Caesar dressing you could look for a ranch or italian dressing. If not I would not worry about the dressing that contains raw egg yolk, I'm sure you will be fine. Just make sure to regrigerate it properly.

I've eaten lots of Caesar salads during my pregnancy. I never knew they were dangerous for pregnant women. At any rate, I'm 30 weeks and have not been harmed by a Caesar salad yet!

You will be fine. Yes, it is true that you should avoid Caesar dressing because of the raw egg, but one time is not going to do anything to the baby. It is more because your risk of salmonella poisoning goes up with raw egg, but it is highly unlikely. You will find lots of should and should nots when it comes to eating everyday food, but things in moderation or here and there are generally ok. Always check with your doctor to be sure! Good Luck!

You'll be fine. Just like you aren't supposed to eat cookie dough for the same reason, but I did it twice without thinking, and my baby was fine. As long as you know what to avoid and make an effort, that's all that matters. If you were eating raw eggs every day I would be worried. But the amount in ceasar dressing isn't enough to do any damage.

I don't think you should worry. I don't know if that is raw egg yolk since that would be unsafe for anybody, not just pregnant women. If you are concerned, don't eat it again while pregnant but this time won't hurt you. I ate caesar wraps and salads during my pregnancy and everything was just fine.

The only eggs that could be dangerous are raw and unpasteurized. As the dressing was from a packet it will almost certainly have been pasteurized or re-hydrated. You only really to check if you are having freshly made dressing. You don't need to worry. Good luck with the pregnancy!

I would imagine since it was a packet of dressing that the eggs are not raw. I just wouldn't eat a salad at a restaurant where they have homemade dressing - that would possibly contain raw eggs.

It's okay. The entire egg industry took a bath a few years back and even there was a claim that eggs contained too much cholesterol. All of that phony-stuff was supposed to be cleaned up by now. Caesar was just a carry-over of what amounted to an ill-fated love affair gone amok with the chicken-and-egg-industry. Before the bad stuff that Barry Bonds has been taking hit the market, weight-lifters used to eat raw-eggs-and-milk and they would wind up out-living everyone in their generation . . . For instance, Jack La Layne . . . Remember him doing those floor exercises on your grandmother's black-and-white 13-inch Sylvania TV back in the 50s? . . . Well, he's still alive today. Don't worry about it. It's all ONLY Politics!!!
