From the childs point of view at 10 i would be embarresed by other kids thinking my 50yr old mum is my grandmother

I believe a 40 year old is fine. If a 40 year old wants to become pregnant I believe it is fine.

I think it's more accepted in society these days.

I personally think it's great, as long as the mother is healthy and responsible, but that's with any age.

I'm 41 and 14 weeks with my 4th child so far nobody has even blinked when i have told them. a lot of women are having baby's in there 40 now celebrities included so i don't think people even think of it as odd.

I dont have any problems with it..Hey if ur body still can handle being preg and getting preg and u want a child or another then be my guest but know ur risk's before u jump into it if its planned..

i feel is a blessing having kids...most important thing is must take care of health when expecting during age forty...

to each his own. but, i think i would kind of look at it like if i die when i'm 50, he/she will only be 10. and alone.
