When she is asleep, and you don't expect her to wake up until after you're done.

There will always be the occasional interruption - that comes with parenthood.

"There is a lie going around that nursing can stop you getting pregnant"

Actually, EXCLUSIVE breastfeeding, during the first six months, when you do not have your periods back yet, is about 96% effective at preventing pregnancy. That is more effective than the IUD and almost as effective as condoms and the birth control pill. Please check your facts before writing something incorrect.

However, at 7 months, when, presumable, some solids have been introduced, and you may be on your way to getting your periods back, you cannot rely on nursing alone to be your contraception. If you have your periods you can track your cycle using a cycle tracking website such as mycycle.com or fertilityfriend.com. This will enable you to figure out your fertile and less-fertile times of the month, but it is still not foolproof. If you do not want to get pregnant again just yet, you should use some sort of contraception.

Apart from that, whenever your baby is likely to be asleep for a while (5 mins? - could be long enough for some men! lol) or if you have a friend or relative who could babysit for an evening or afternoon so you and your partner can get some quality time together.

There is no safe time the baby you talk about is 7 months old , so any time you try to have sex the babies internal alarm goes off because it senses an intruder in its previous home so the baby starts crying like a siren , this will always happen for at least a year !

Like everyone else I am wondering why the word safe?
Now if I were to assume (shame on me lol) that safe meant you think you cannot get preggars whilst nursing well...........that is a lie
While nursing does indeed usually suppress the body from ovulating it can and does happen all the time. Lot's of moms out there have gotten caught in this trap.
So if you are asking if nursing is adequate birth control the answer would be NO
Now having said all that, if you don't want to get pregnant again use birth control. And then you can comfortably, without worry love the one your with :)

Kudos to your boyfriend for not pressuring you to have sex right away. I have twins and I waited about 4 months after they were born. It felt awkward at first, but like someone else said, I did kegel exercises and it really did work. what positions did you try? Maybe try laying on ur back with ur guy between ur legs and ur legs up and crossed at the ankles to get a little more tightness. The link below might help. I think as your body gets back to how it was or at least close to how it was, things will get better. Hope this helps!

Do you not want to get pregnant? If so, then there is no safe time...use birth control of some sort.

Other than that...anytime she's not actually nursing would be the best option...

Not quite sure what you're asking...

Sex while physically nursing? Or do you mean after she is done.

Anytime she is sleeping is a good time to have sex. But then again anytime is a good time to have sex.

I am sure you know when she is fast asleep.Go on have your normal sex at that time.It is better have a pleasure filled sex after she is in deep sleep for about 20/30 minutes. There won't be any interruption.
