my gf's daughter was just born and now she is puking yellow what does it mean?

its the acid in the stomach... I think if she is "puking" up yellow she is not eating enough. I would call the doctor and she what she can do.

Formula looks yellow when its been partially digested. Bile from an empty stomach looks yellow some times.
Babies shouldnt puke, they spit up, but vomitting is different and for a newborn it requires medical attention to make sure its nothing serious.

My baby's puke has always been white... I suppose she might be formula feeding, or it could be stomach acid.
