Complain to the state or county government agency who licensed this facility. That is outrageous! I'd move her to a new day care!

If switching daycares is not a realistic option for you. I would just wait the 2 months . In the meantime you can start getting her ready at home so that in 2 months she will have an easier time at the daycare. You can introduce her to the potty, let her sit and try it out, or watch how mommy does it. There are a lot of ways to mentally get her ready while you wait on the daycare.

I would start looking into other daycares also . When the 2 months is up they may throw another excuse at you and you want to be prepared to switch daycares.

Average children are potty trained between 2 - 3 so I wouldn't worry just yet but be sure to get a back up plan just in case.

Good luck!

I potty trained my daughter at home very quickly. Instead of a battle of the wills and constant reminding, I started by just setting The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool at the toilet. This stool makes every toilet kid-sized. My kids immediately climbed up on this stool and discovered that they could safely and securely use the toilet. This got them very interested in using the toilet and they were potty trained very quickly.

My kids like to use what they know mommy and daddy use. And it really is wonderful having your kids independently use the toilet on their own. The handles and sides make all the difference! My son and daughter felt very secure and the sides makes them feel comfortable and closed in when they use the toilet.

I like that I don't have to double the steps of potty training by training them first in a potty and then training them to stop using a potty. And not dumping and cleaning a potty each time is great. The best thing is that kids use it for years. I hope this helps you

don't worry about it. your daughter will eventually learn how to use the potty. It really isn't about "training" her, its about waiting for her brain to develop.

change daycares, or you try teaching her. My son is 15 months and has been in traing since one. your daughter can learn fast.
