I have a 1st grader that has a very good teacher. There are 2 more 1st grade teachers (new to the building that followed the new pirinipal). They feel like their kids are "bad". There is a rumor that students will be moved around to accomodate their WHINING. Meaning innocent kids will have to be displaced to another teacher this late in the school year. I need advice.

i had reason to believe i was losing my plug, so i called my obgyn,and spoke to a nurse. she told me go to labor and delivery at the hospital i'm delivering at. they checked me internally did ultrasound, everything. and when i asked if i lost my plug her answer was "i don't know, you can't tell by just looking"

someone please explain this to me, so how do i know if i lost my plug??

i'm on pelvic rest tho.

Okay, so I'm sitting here perfectly still in the computer chair. Then, all of a sudden my whole body shakes a bit...it feels like I am sitting on top of a washing machine. This feeling came out of nowhere and has been like this for at least 3 full minutes now. Is it possible the baby is moving that fast, or am I just going crazy??

I am 17 weeks tomorrow....

Ok so NO rude comments please im just simply curious i dont plan on trying it i just want to know if you or anyone you know has tryed it and what happend? i had a friend how took it years ago and all it did was cause the SH#TS but did not make her go into labor. And today i was watching baby story and this woman was past her due date and took 3 tablespoons of it and it helped her go into labor?? and even her doctor wasnt mad she said they sometimes use castro oil to speed things up. if you watched it today yo know what im talking about! so im just curious to see what you guys think and is it even safe for your baby?? im 35 weeks and waiting impatiently!!!!

I am 15 and recently found out my girlfriend is pregnant. We've been through a hell of a tough time lately with parents, decision making, lectures, health, school etc etc and its worse now in that we are disagreeing over what to do. She doesnt want to abort and doesnt think she could give it up after it's born, and is actually starting to like that fact that shes pregnant. Ive tried to persuade her that its maybe best to do abort or adopt for our sakes, to save money, education etc. She wont speak to me at the minute because shes offended and "disgusted that i suggested that." I really think that its the only way and that she wont be able to cope if she has her way. Should i apologise and let her or should i keep persuading her to see what it would be like in the long run?

I want my son to know the difference between day & night so we have started giving him a bath b/w 7-8pm, using the sleepy time lotion, swaddling, feeding and then placing in bassinet. It seems to be going good so far (only be doing it one week) but I just wonder about giving a bath everyday. Could it be harmful at all?

If a tech wasn't looking for a pregnancy on transvaginal ultrasound and the pregnancy was 7-8 weeks along, is there any way she could miss it? And if it were 8 weeks from the last time I had sex, how far along would that make me? 8 weeks or 10 weeks. Do you count from lmp or last time you had intercourse?

One of my friends didn't know she was pregnant until she was 4 1/2 months. Now one of my co-workers had the same thing happen to her. How does that happen? Wouldn't you notice SOMETHING changing with your body or energy levels or something?

My daughter is 2 month and 2 week and 1 day =). She gets constipated very often and I brought this up to the pediatrician today. He said to put a tea spoon of sugar in her bottle and it should come right out.

What I have been doing when she is constipated is mix one once apple prune with 3 once of water and feed her about 2 once of that. the doctor said don’t do that but give her a tea spoon of sugar in her bottle. I do not feel comfortable doing that ( like who gives there baby sugar) I rather do something that is natural. What do you other moms think or recommend, please remember my babies age and what is most age appropriate. I also heard of Kyro syrup and don’t really want to do that either. Any suggestions????

My one best friend Justin's brother was just diagnosed with cancer. I know what he is dealing with becuase at age 10 i was diagnosed with leukimia but am in remmisson. He keeps shutting me out and i dont know what to do beacuse i really want to help because it hurts me to see him. What can i do?

I feel as if maybe I'm doing something wrong. I have been watching and listening to other kids my daughters age (3yrs 4mon) talk and I feel as if she isn't even close to them I am going to get her assessed but the thing is I think some kids who are 2 and a half and older talk far better than her.
I also have a baby who is about to be 1 she doesn't communicate either my older daughter was at least saying a few words she has got nothing. She doesn't point she just started shaking her head but I don't think she knows that it means no she doesn't nod. When can I have her assessed. And what am I doing wrong?

So I want to go natural with my baby(provided they don't to a c-section) and would like to by all means avoid an episiotomy(sorry if I spell things wrong). But does anyone know if tearing or episiotomies hurt worse? And how bad is the pain honestly? I was also wondering about stitches, how bad to they hurt? I'm not worried about contractions and even not too much about tearing because it will hurt but it's also natural and it's been done that way since the begining of time. Needles and stitches and such make me nervous, so if someone could please calm my nerves it would be appreciated. And also, has anyone else requested to not have an IV(I'm going to but I'm not sure if they'll let me, I've heared they will though)?

i have a few clusters of bumps that have formed on the inside of my labia.i went to the doctor (ob/gyn) and she couldn't detect the cause. They are not painful and there are no odd symptoms.also, i have not had sex since conseption. my due date is quickly approaching and i was asked did i want a c- section. help me out

Is this it.....I had taken 4 hpg's and they all showed positive, then like 2 days later I had gotten my period anyways I think it was....it only lasted like 2 days and it was really light.....but then the day I got my period I went just the texas med-clinic and took a pee test there and they told me negative so then I went home and I still had one of those hpgs left cause I bought the 3 pack of EPTs and still had one left so I took that after the doctor told me know and it was still showing positive?....what is going on?
