I have a 1st grader that has a very good teacher. There are 2 more 1st grade teachers (new to the building that followed the new pirinipal). They feel like their kids are "bad". There is a rumor that students will be moved around to accomodate their WHINING. Meaning innocent kids will have to be displaced to another teacher this late in the school year. I need advice.

Talk to the Principal.
If it's true and your Principal there does not honor your wishes, speak to the Superintendent about the issue.

principal cant do that. its too much of a big adjustment so late in the year that kids will fall behind with a new teacher. school is about the kids not the teachers who complain. talk to the parents and get together and go to the principal. i work at a school with A LOT of whinny teachers wishing they could move their kids around

I would call the super and call the other parents and have a parent meeting. I hope for the kids sake it is just a rumor.

Best of luck

as a parent, you can stop this. put up a stink about it and your child will stay where he is. technically, the school is not allowed to do this.
