My daughter is 6 months old and she has 6 teeth already. Everyone started warning us that she'll start biting us soon. Did your child bite when they started teething? I don't think all kids go thru that stage.

Now after taking imodium while pregnant did your baby come out normal? So in other words, did the imodium affect your unborn baby in ANY way? I am 33 weeks pregnant and I am taking imodium and I am worried that it is going to hurt my unborn baby.

I have missed my period by 8 days and I know that I had unprotected sex on my most fertile day last month. I have had symptoms such as constant heartburn, fatigue, and just a bit of nausea. I have taken two first response tests that both came out negative. My boyfriend is somewhat convinced that I'm pregnant, so to find out for sure, he wanted me to get a blood test done. I went this morning and they said that the blood test is just the same as the over the counter tests; that the blood test could only pick up the same hormone. They acted as if it would be stupid for me to get the blood test done, so I didn't. So are they basically saying that I'm not pregnant? It is very disconcerting that I am 8 days late...

I had my hair done by a new girl a couple weeks ago. We both have children the same age so I was thinking about emailing her too see if she would be interested in meeting me at a park so our kids can play. We seemed to really get along and at the moment I am having a hard time making friends. Would you be freaked out if one of your clients emailed you for a play date?

I have been living with my GF over a yr and her 4 yr old son does not chew his food. He holds it in his mouth like a squirrel or something. for minutes...he will Talk with food in his mouth, run with food in his mouth, and get up from the table with the last few bites in his mouth. and will just hold it in his mouth??!!? Whats the deal with that? I even stress to him and my grlfriend how dangerous it can be, EX: he could choke on non chewed food, and what if he is running with this food in his mouth and happens to slip and fall...He just doesnt listen and it is to the point where it is an embarassment, even in public places he does this. Any help or advice.??

Has anyone ever done an amniocentesis and found an extra marker/ chromezone with the lab work? Is it bad??? They said they will know more next week, but I'm panicing and wondered if anyone else has gone thru this and what was the outcome. I know its not down because they already did all the test for that.

I am 34 1/2 weeks pregnant and two nights ago after having sex for the first time in two weeks I was having contractions every five minutes for four hours. I finally fell asleep and when I woke up they stopped. They felt like braxton hicks, but were consistent. Now two days later I'm back to feeling pretty normal but am now having braxton hicks about once every two hours compared to the usual of every four hours. Does this mean I'm getting close to delivery.

i'm 19 and just found out that im 2 mon. pregant and i don't know how to tell my boyfriend or parents, i think he will be very happy it's just that he wants to get a better job. i don't know how to tell my parents because my younger sister is pregant and they may think thats the only reasin i got pregant or that my boyfriend is going to do the same thing my sister boyfriend did. (he acts like he don't know her and denies her and her unborn child) but my boyfriend isn't like that .

I have a 11 year old. He's very smart, but doesn't seem to care how he treats people. He gets in trouble at school and at home. He just does whatever he wants to. I know when I was that age, I wouldn't have dared to defy an elder, but now days it seems like it happens all the time. What do you think has changed so much since the late 80's or early 90's? How do we treat the kids who treat others like crap?

The pacifer? The bottle? I am a Grandmther, my children and Grandchildren were off the bottle at the age 12 to 13 months. I am writing about healthy babies only please. I do not like seeing 2-4 year olds with a bottle or pacifer. Some parents put soda, suger drinks in their child's bottle. I think that's awful

My husband was born and adopted in Colorado Springs. Can anyone tell me what the 1st step is that he would need to take in order to attempt to locate his birth parents? What does he have to do to get a hold of his adoption records? Do they have to be handed over to him if he requests them or does it depend on the circumstances?

Susan Smith. If you are a good parent, you know who I am talking about. I just can't understand why a perent would or could do what she did. Can anybody else understand what I am talking about? Has anybody here been abused. I remember when I was little I made an emerengcy Kit. I put in a bottle of water, a book, some food and money for a payphone If I needed it. I also had some pencil crayons and paper to draw. Then If my mother was being verbally or phisically abusive I would go up and open the kit.

How did you guys cope with abuse?

this is more detailed...i had my last period on october 3rd...had sex with my ex on the 7th(last day of my period), then had sex with a guy on the 20th of october...today i had an ultrasound and the doc said i was 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant...im sooo confsed...so i counted back 4 weeks and 3 days from today and it is october 15th (my 18 bday)...i dont see how i could of had sex on the 20th and be 4 weeks and 3 days....but i had my last period 6 weeks ago...im just going crazy....the guy on the 20th is black and i have no idea who he is...but my ex is on the and white...im really lost...my parents want me to get an abortion and i would reaaly soooo ashamed to tell them i dont know who the father is if i kept the baby....they would never forgive me...what would i do about the birth certificate because i will never see the guy from the 20th again
