My 3 son's NEVER bit anyone! Okay, my two youngest acted like it... but never bit me. It was like a little threat, and it only happened once and they thought it was funny. None of my children ever made a habit of biting. I think some kids are genetically predisposed to biting. But I think if you try to fill your childs needs, then they don't get frustrated to the point of biting another person. Make sure she has teething items that are appropriate for teething. If she feels like chewing, or you see her chewing her fingers or something... hand her a teething toy. Don't worry, your child may never ever feel the need to bite anyone! Best of luck!

NOPE! he did start gumming me hard before he ever got teeth but I told him "no more milk if you bite down" and i pulled him off and he quickly learned not to! He's 15 months now, still breastfeeding and doesn't bite. He accidently did one time and I didn't say or do anything so it wouldn't scare him but he knew what he did and cried. I felt so bad because he's so sensitive and knows if he's hurt someone or something. He accidently stepped on a catterpillar and it got squished and he cried so hard.
