ok my doc prescibed birth control pills to regulate me but is metformin a fertility drug ?? and doies metformin regulate your periods im new to this i do wanna get pregnant soon so i dont wanna take the birth control and i need to know which pill best to take to regulate you and help u get pregnant and does insurance pay for the drugs like they do birth control or am i gonna pay hundreds???

So, I am on CD 25. Started spotting very light pink yesterday. Figured AF was starting (which it probably is) and today it is very dark brown (no pink or red) only when I wipe. Wishful thinking?

I was at the doctors and the baby was hungry and I was too embarressed to nurse. She is only 12days old and we don't plan on taking her out all that much but even at home I get very uncomfortable. I started to pump so she can still have breastmilk.

Has any other mother felt this way? Is such a combination of feelings...one, my body looks terrible. Two, people would know even if under a blanket that I was nursing. Three, everyone seems to use a bottle.

At night i heat up to the point that i can actually heat up my husbands side of the bed with my body heat. for me this is not normal, it started about a year and 1/2 ago. It is really interfering with my sleep. any suggestions or remedies??

She was told she was tongue-tied at the age of two and had to have the small muscle under her tongue clipped. That is the reason she is in speech therapy. She will repeat a word after you say it, but really is not trying to communicate or make sentences. She points alot. She is very quiet and makes no noises.Please help me!

I am due any day now with my first. I optimally don't want any pain medication, esp. an epidural, however I know that may not be realistic and before I know I may end up screaming EPIDURAL! lol...

My question is, if you've had a baby vaginally what, if any, medication(s) did you use and what were the positives/negatives you experienced? I've read about narcotics causing the baby to be kind of out of it, making it harder to initiate breastfeeding when it is best, which I am hoping to do.

Also, if you have experience with being induced with pitocin vs. only breaking of water...

Any input, suggestions, and personal experiences are appreciated. Please try to refrain from anything horrific that might make me more nervous than I already am!

I would like your opinon about two middle names. My whole thing is my husband has his grandfather's last name, which of course, in turn, our kids will have the same last name. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and we are finding out the sex in 3 weeks. If it's a boy he wants to name the boy Dominic Ronald Thomas Breisinger.

Ronald is my deceased father's name and Thomas is his deceased grandfather's name, which like I said, his grandfather's last name is Breisinger.

I personally don't like a kid having 2 middle names...and I feel like I'm being selfish if I ask him if he would just have my dad's name as his middle name since he is already carrying the last name Breisinger (after his grandfather).

Do you think this is selfish of me and if not, how can I bring this up to my husband without sounding rude about it?

Hello all, My husband and I recently were married in June of this year. We decided to go ahead and start trying while on our honey moon. Long story short, we miscarried @ 5 weeks the first week of August. I had 2 normal periods 1 in Sept. and 1 in Oct. - Oct. 12th was the first day of my last. I have yet to start this month. I purchased some of the early pregnancy test online and took on around 2 weeks ago, it was negative and there is still no line to this day as I kept it just for reference. I took a test 4 days ago and at first it said negative, but about 8 or 10 minutes later a faint pink line, but very noticable, appeared. Even showed it to my husband and he aggreed that it was there and I wasent seeing things. So I took another test last night and the same thing happend, only 1 line at first, but after @ 8 or 10 minutes there was another line a little darker than last time... Could this be the "evaporating line" or could I possibly be pregnant again? Any Help?

I'm just curious, on average when breastmilk comes in fully? My son is 3 days old, my breasts are HUGE and so very sore, but I could hardly get any milk out of them with a pump? Also... how much should he be eating each day...in ounces?
One more question, is it normal for my left armpit to be sooo incredibly tender? Last night it started hurting so bad I was crying.
Sorry for the hundred questions, I'm a new concerned momma:)

he is moving his head from side to side over and over. He has never done this before and its worrying me. he will stop and smile at me if I talk to him, but then goes back to doing it. Is he playing or something? Has anyone elses baby done this at this age? Thankyou for answers

I'm 33 weeks 5 days pregnant and my discharge has increased but it has been clear or milky. Today I went to the restroom and I had this thick yellow snotty looking discharge when I wiped. Is this normal or could it be the start of my mucus plug? Should I call the doc for this?

I was on birth control when I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago and the father totally freaked out and said he doesn't want anything to do with the baby once it's born. We currently live together and our lease is up the same month that my baby is due. He told me he would move out at that time if I decided to have the baby and would only be financially responsible. He prefers that I get an abortion, but I told him I wouldn't do that. I was pregnant 3 years ago (same boyfriend), which ended in abortion (i would never do it again-worse experience of my life). The only reason why I did it the first time was because i was young and irresponsible. It seems now that there is a white elephant in the room now...How am I supposed to pretend like everything is okay when it's really not...knowing that in 7 1/2 months, he will leave me and the baby? The funny thing is that he says he still loves ME and wants to be with ME. How could he want to be with me and not our child?

I am 31 weeks and started to get ready for my baby. I just bought a used travel pack on craigs list. It looks brand new and of course i took off all the fabric and washed it in hot water 2x. I as the lady and she said the car seat has never been in any accidents or anything and i looked at the seat in its base and it is pretty sturdy. what other things should i look in to to make sure its safe.

My husband and I have been TTC for two years now, and this month I really feel like I might be preg, I have lower back pain, sore breasts, I am very tired, and I constantly feel like I wanna throw up, I have only done so once but the feeling is always there. I had my period two weeks early (which has NEVER happened before i am always exactly 29 days). I took a test when I was supposed to have my period on nov 13, but it was neg, but I just feel like it might be wrong??? I have had my annual pap schedualed for Nov 19, is it safe if i might be preg?? or should i reschedual???? thanks :)

my period is over a week late...
for the last few days ive had nausea, cravings for bread and butter which i used to hate and steak (im vegetarian) and have been experiencing cramps (different from period cramps)

Now, 2 days later and I have been up since 4:30 am with real bad period cramps and a real bad backache in my lower back.When I went to the bathroom at about 10:30 am there was a think green colored discharge.Could this be it soon.
