My husband and I have been TTC for two years now, and this month I really feel like I might be preg, I have lower back pain, sore breasts, I am very tired, and I constantly feel like I wanna throw up, I have only done so once but the feeling is always there. I had my period two weeks early (which has NEVER happened before i am always exactly 29 days). I took a test when I was supposed to have my period on nov 13, but it was neg, but I just feel like it might be wrong??? I have had my annual pap schedualed for Nov 19, is it safe if i might be preg?? or should i reschedual???? thanks :)

Go get it done. While there tell your doc about your period being late and about your symptoms. He will likely send you to have a test done

That "early" period could be implantation bleeding, some women have this happen before or around the time you would normally start your period, and is mistaken for a period. Was it lighter than normal? Was it shorter than normal? The pregnancy test could be showing neg because it might be too early to tell. A pap smear is completely safe. But while you are there tell them your systems and ask for a pregnancy test, if it is negative ask for a blood test. Oh....and congrats : )

Call your doctor's office to let them know you may be pregnant. My doctor often has a nurse in the room when he does my pap so let them know in case they need to reschedule the nurse.
Also wait another week and take the test. My GF with both pregnancies didn't get a positive on the pregnency tests till 5 weeks of pregnancy

A pap smear is a routine test done in the first trimester anyhow. Yes, if you are pregnant, it is safe...and spotting afterwards is very, very normal.

Go have your pap, you get one anyways when you're pregnant. They will be able to tell if you're pregnant (either with a urine or blood test or by palpating your stomach to feel the uterus).

I'm pretty sure that you have to have one during the first trimester anyway, so I'm sure it's perfectly fine. Good Luck.
