You might have to wait another week before testing again. If you are pregnant your HcG levels might not be high enough to register on a urine test. This is common for many women. Or you could request a blood test which is very accurate.

Or it's possible you aren't pregnant. Your craving for red meat could be due to iron-deficiency.

two things:

(1) when taking pregnancy tests, one should always take two tests at the same time. also, the tests should be of different lot numbers or just different brands. this ensures a more accurate picture than just using one and thinking that it's right and finding later the product was a dud.

(2) go to a free clinic or to your doctor's office and ask for a test. their tests can read i believe more accurately and earlier than over the counter products.

also, since you are not sure, act like you are pregnant. don't smoke, drink etc. the sooner you find out the better. you will need folic acid and the sooner you increase your intake the better. go do option number 2.

good luck

Sometimes you crave things because your defecient in that area. You might be craving steak because you need more protein in your diet. You could very well be pregnant but it may be that you are just not eating healthy enough and your body is under stress and that is why you are having cravings. Maybe see your doctor about this and they can do a blood test.

You should go to the doctor so they can do some blood test. If not re-test in a couple of more days.

A couple of my friends were 6 weeks pregnant but still have negative HPT...I'd say wait another week (even though it'll be hard) and test again.
