i can feel little buring sensation while urinating also.i also felt some abdomen pain in last 2 days once on left side & once on right side.i can feel pain sometimes a day. i have nausea & in morning while brushing,i have to use my brush to take out some coughy liquid without which i cant feel good.after taking that out of mouth,i feel little relief but while doing that i feel some pain in abdomen.is this all serious.what can it be? pls help.i am worried

I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant, I just used the bathroom and when I wiped, there was some blood. I wiped again and sure enough it's still there. Is this common? I have not had any sexual intercourse lately, so I know it's because of that. Two days ago, I had the same thing happen. But there wasn't as much blood so I figured it was nothing. But today there was more blood then before. There is no blood on my underwear, only when I wipe. I'm kind of worried, but I don't know if it's such a big deal that I should go to the doctors right now. My next OB appointment is not until another 2 weeks. I do have an ultrasound coming up next week though. Should I wait it out and go ask next week?

I'm due for early November, and still debating names. I've become fond of Emily, and if I choose it my daughter would be "Emily Potter". I need a middle name though- something unique and feminine, although nothing like "Marie" or "Rose". Thank you!

She's a wonderful girl, treats us with love, is honest, a sweet heart, the kind of girl that says Mom I love you. The only problem is, for some reason, she's still immature, even naive. She trusts too much, belives too much, doesn't see danger in dangerous situations. It's easy to deceive her. Needs protection. Yesterday she and othe girls got a ride with a guy they'd never seen before! We got to know because at dinner she told us this kinda naturally, she was talking about her day and told us las naturally as she'd tell she had a math class. Even said the guy was so nice. She didn't realize how dangerous that was and got amaxed when she saw we were surpriused and worried, She looked at us astounded like asking Did I do something wrong? I am considering a medical abortion, however I cannot use my parent's insurance because I don't want them to know. Do some clinics offer a "discount" price? How much do they usually cost? And also, what will my symptoms and pain be like afterwards? Are there serious complications? Please do not judge, I never thought I would have to come to this and it has been a hard and straining process to decide.

My OBGYN has me lay down after dinner every night and make sure the baby makes 10 movements within two hours. Normally my baby does it within 20 minutes.

Anyone elses doctor having them do this? Is it necessary? What does it accomplish??

Im 29 1/2 weeks pregnant and am concerned when I eat junk or fast food. Should I be?? This morning I had cereal and then my boss had me work past when I was supposed to & run errands so I ended up picking up Burger King.


I had four mini chocolate candies while I was at work because I was so hungry.

Tonight im going to eat some veggies...

How bad is it to eat junk during your pregnancy? I have fast food but it doesn't take up the majority of my diet. But I do get Subway once a week and normally pizza every Friday.

I have a 10 year old son that does EVERYTHING with the exception of sports at a very slow pace. He's the last one done eating, the last one done with homework even if he's got the least amount to do. He even walks slow! But put him on a football field, basketball court or track and he's shines....he's an excellent athlete but in every other area he just moves at a slow pace. His teacher has even asked me if that was just him. He's intelligent and has not problem with comprehending the work it just for whatever reason takes him a loooonnnggg time to get it done. Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated. And if you don't have anything nice to say do as my mother always told me -- Don't say anything at all!!!! Thanks!

First i am not pregnant i am on Mirena iud,but i have a rash that itches and burns and is red a little raised area and has a little odor .It happens alot worse when i dont wear my bra and the breast are free it feels like they are going to crack and separate and it gets raw between my breast and it hurts to wash or touch that area. My breast recently increase their size by themselves up 3 cup sizes i dont know why they got big fast they dont hurt and they are not tender .I occasionally get a tingling around the nipple but after i put the bra back on they get a little better but the rash is still there.If any one can help feel please do so thanks!!!

I like the idea of the car seat with base and matching stroller combo. But I realize after a little while, I will have to buy another car seat since the infant travel system combo is for babies up to 22lbs. I currently have a practically new stroller.

So I was wondering if I should get the combo or just make do with the stroller I have and buy a convertible car seat, that I can use well after the infant stage?

don't they teach sexual education in school anymore? I notice ALOT of question by girls 13-18 asking questions about getting pregnant from having "dry" sex or from their boyfriends touching them in their private areas after touching themselves? And various other questions like this...are the kids just not paying attention in class? Or are the materials taught inadequate? I don't understand why teenagers make the decision to engage in something as serious and life changing as sexual intercourse without the basic knowledge of how babies are conceived and diseases are contracted? Any thoughts?

I got my period back after nursing on September 22. It last long then it usely does, ( six days) so will this mean I will now have a period every month like I use too or will it be messed up for a while. If it is suppose to be back the way it was that would mean I'm late right?

My son had begun school in September this year in a Toddler Program so children can socialize with his own age group. It seems ever since he started, he seems to come down with some cold every three weeks or so.
Even now he is sick again and he was fine on 10/11 when we visited the doctor for his two year check-up. I called the doctor and told him how he is being and since he doesn't have a fever and just started to take a turn to worse and she told me its typical this happens when kids start school. He is fidgety, grumpy, coughing and sneezing but since he has no fever she can't see him until tomorrow. And yes, I give him vitamins every day but still... we never had these getting sick issues until Sept when he started school.

So is it true? When kids start toddler programs/pre-school/daycare it's like a communical disease center? :)
