Its not good for your body, but it doesnt effect the baby. They have done numerous studies on pregnant women and their diets. They have found that starving, over eating, or any food choice, does not effect the outcome of the baby. It effects your body terribly, but not the baby. You baby will get what it needs, even if it had to go so far as to leech calcium from your teeth. So long as you were healthy before pregnancy your body has everything it needs for the baby- everything else you need you get from whatever you eat and the vitamin.
You can google it, its studies on pregnant eating habits in industrialized nations... i think thats the verbage.

What I will tell you, you will not listen to, but I will tell you anyways. If you keep on the trend you are going you WILL die before the age of Fifty. Not a threat, just a certainty. Scientific evidence shows that eating fast food on a consistent basis for a year or more. Increases your chance of becoming morbidly obese, having heart disease, and early diabetes before the age of 40. There is nothing worse than fast food, nothing. There are ways to get around eating unhealthy if you MUST eat it. Like don't eat it for breakfast, just lunch and dinner, and do grilled chicken not fried whenever possible, and dont drink soda. That is the best you can do my friend. Good luck and take care of your body.

If you were eating burger king every day, there might be an issue... but as an every once in a while treat, don't worry about it! Also Subway is good for you, so you don't have to worry about that. Pizza is fine in moderation as well. Try not to worry so much and enjoy what's left of the pregnancy! :)

I dont think it would harm the baby too much, I mean its better then not eating at all right? I would just ask your doctor just to be safe. Every women is different, so you cant really tell if it does harm the baby. I would say maybe fast food is ok, but only about once a week, or maybe even only 2 times a month. Hoped that helped! good luck!

I read in the book " what to expect when you are expecting" and it showed some study where women who ate junk food usually had smaller babies. Here is some more info that I found:
Pregnant women who “eat for two” by increasing their consumption of fatty and sugary foods could be putting their unborn children at risk of obesity, research published today says.
Breast-feeding mothers who indulge in junk food could also increase their children’s chances of weight problems in later life.
Babies’ eating habits can be programmed even as they are in the womb by their mother’s own diets, the study, published in the British Journal of Nutrition, suggests.
Children who are exposed to “maternal junk food” in the womb or while breast-feeding may have more difficulty resisting unhealthy diet choices when they get older.Stephanie Bayol, of the Royal Veterinary College in London, said: “Our study has shown that eating large quantities of junk food when pregnant and breast-feeding could impair the normal control of appetite and promote an exacerbated taste for junk food in offspring. This could send offspring on the road to obesity and make the task of teaching healthy eating habits in children even more challenging.”

The baby takes everything thing he or she needs from what you are eating. The only real concern would be the weight gain from the junk food. Make sure you continue to take your prenatal vitamins and calcium. The calcium not provided in junk food can be leached from your teeth and bones.

It is not a big deal as long as you are getting allot of other foods and it seems like you are. I am 31 weeks and ate alot of fast food during the first trimester because i was soo exhausted, and my baby is very healthy, just make good choices like chicken and salads intead of burger and fries.
