We’re going out again tonight, I have to pick something up for supper for my kids but I’m tired of feeding them McDonald’s. Is there anything else that I can pick up fast that isn’t so gross & greasy? Something easy from a grocery store that’s ready to eat, preferably unprocessed.

my 3 grandkids enjoy Taco bell bean and cheese burritos (they get them without the onions or sauce), Wendy's baked potatoes, chili and salads, anything Subway, Zaxbys chicken wings, roasted chickens from the grocery and those ready to microwave meats and sides from the meat section (they're ready in less than 10 minutes and are delicious) All of these options are relatively healthy and not fried. It's not always easy, but you CAN find healthy foods at fast food places! Good Luck!

Maple leaf ready to eat dinners. They are low fat and low sodium and you just pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. It is usually lean white chicken strips and veggies with either wraps or rice.
If you have a subway or Pita Pit close they are healthy options.
M and M meats always has some nice dishes ready to go.

How about a veggie sub from Subway?? Since eating deli meat isn't a good idea when pregnant I got hooked on the veggie subs. Get the sweet onion dressing on it (fat free). IT IS DELICIOUS! And healthy!

if u haven't noticed wal-mart has their own brand of foods now. Like pizza and stuff like that. And a few weeks ago I go so chick quesidillas that they made and they were pretty good. U just pop them in the oven for like 10 minutes and you're ready to eat. They also have lasagna and little simple meals that you just pop in the oven.

What about KFC? Arbys? Taco Bell? KFC is good because its more of a meal. we like to get KFC some weekends and go to the nature park, and eat at the childrens habitat, then walk on the trails. I feel like my kids are getting real food. and all of the food groups.

Kids don't know that dinner is not breakfast. Give them cereal, with or w/o milk. And some fresh melon and or bananas, stawberries. There are also some sweet snap peas that don't need to be cooked but are yummy.

I was about to suggest McDonald's but you should try Subway. Their sandwiches come with baked chips and stuff.

A lot of good supermarkets have deli's with sandwiches ready to eat.
Also they have hot, fresh chicken and vegetables ready to eat.
