im 36 weeks pregnant and i went to the obgyn two days ago and i got an ultra sound and everything they checked my cervix and told me i was closed and wasnt showing any signs of delivery which is good..but yesterday starting in the afternoon i started getting cramps and i know there not braxton hicks because the cramps where below my stomach like in between my pelvic area where my bladder would be and i kept getting constant cramps with no relief and then it started to let up around midnight but now the next day im starting to get little cramps again but my baby is moving and everything and kicking..i have an appointment with my docter in 5 days..so what do u think it could be?

My wife recently gave birth, and we were given the disposable teats and the milk ready made in glass bottles, now that we've come out, I just wondered where you can buy them from beacuse I can't find them anywhere :(

Ok, I am looking for baby girl names, she is due in January, but I am trying to have a name picked out before the baby shower.
I am being pressured mostly by my mother, because she feels that I should choose a biblical name, with a great meaning.
I feel that I can choose a non biblical name with a good meaning.
I'm looking for a name that my daughter will not have difficulty getting a job, will not have to spell 3 or 4 times, and one that she won't get teased.
Please help! So far I like Madison...that's the only name I keep thinking of.

I have been a member of this site for a long while now and I just want to know, why someone would think that someone else would make uo a thing like their husband died. I have tons of friends and family, but no one has mentioned a baby shower. Everyone keeps asking me when its going to be and I just politely say, "I'm not sure anyone is planning one, so I guess I'll be throwing it myself.", and everyone is like "Okay!". Every baby shower that I've been to has been thrown by a friend or family member of the mom-to-be. I don't mind planning my own...just wondering if that was waaaaay out of the norm.

I will just go ahead and say, i know to take a test. I am waiting another 3 days before doing so. I also understand I should be on birth control, so please don't think I don't understand that. Here is the question:

I am now 4 days late. I am starting to freak out. here is why:
I found out a few months ago my husband of 2 years had been cheating for a few months, so i moved out. The relationship had been going downhill for over a year, it was more like an extra push on out the door for me. Well since then I have found a wonderful man. The relationship is going wonderfully.

I know at this point a baby isn't a great thing for the relationship. We had every intention of taking it slow (expecially due to the fact I am waiting on seperation papers). I really have no clue how he will take it if i am pregnant. He doesn't seem like the type guy whom would just take off and not have anything to do with me or the baby. If I am how do I tell him?????

My husband and I just recently found out that we're expecting, due June 9th, 2008, and I couldn't be happier. He was working, when I took my pregnancy test, so as soon as I saw it was positive I went out and got a small gift bag with a card that said congratulations and was blank on the inside. I wrapped the test in tissue paper and put it in the gift bag, and I attached the card in the envelope to the bag, and wrote "We did it." On the inside of the card. I called him and told him instead of coming directly home, I wanted to go out to dinner and met him at a nice restaurant for dinner... after we finished eating I told him, I have a surprise for you, and I handed him the gift bag. He opened it and began smiling and hugging me... then he loudly says "We're having a baby" for half the restaurant to hear, lol. But it was cute. We're having our parents over for dinner tonight to anouce it to them... it's been hard not to tell my mom on the phone, but we wanted to tell them in person.

I was just curious at what time, if there was one, did breastfeeding your child actually become a bonding situation.

Perhaps I'm just a bit jaded for the moment. It's only been 2 weeks but it feels more like a battlefield than a bonding situation. First there was the sore nipples and learning to latch correctly. Now that we've got that down, it seems either gas or colic has got my daughter all worked up. She bites down, pulls away and gets generally frusterated and hurts me. Any suggestions? And does everyone go through something similar and then once you have it all down it becomes that loving mother scene you see in the pictures, or do I need to expand my views of bonding?

Im 26yrs old. Been with my very supportive partner for 8yrs. We're engaged to be married in 12mths. We own our home, I have a successful home based business, great family & friends. Life is actually pretty good. We have just recently found out that we are expecting a baby & this has just totally knocked me for 6! Im having a really hard time getting my head around it all. Everyone keeps telling me I'll be fine, maybe it was just meant to be. I've heard it once I've heard it a thousand times. But Im just not ready for a baby. Im really not ready to be a mum. Im having a hard time lifting my spirits & Im finding its really getting me down. I dont know how to move past this stage.

OK so my last period was 9/27 and I am every 25 days! So Far I had sex on 10/4 and will Tonight as well and Tomorrow! I am really clueless on how it all works, my last one it just happened, Please any advise would help, does it sound like I am on track?
