My cousin just named her daughter Tessa who is now about 3 months old. That sounds like an old maid to me.
She said that she named her after Tessa of Laguna Beach though.

I hate the Aidan names!!! Jayden, Braiden, Hayden... Gosh they are so overused and annoying to hear! I am tired of Gracie, Maggie, Emily, Anna, Marie, larry, Jim, bob. Names like that which are sooo old! I do like Emma though because it was my Great Great Grandmothers name. Tessa sounds pretty to me and you dont hear it every day its not my first choice but i think its nice.

Michael Vaughan may be the subsequent star (sorry KooKee!). i comprehend he's making an attempt to dangle on and retire after the 2009 Ashes, yet he's suffering to hold down a place interior the area, and is below tension for his place interior the right six from Shah, Bopara, Flintoff and now Rob Key seems back in favour lower back (not previously time). Of the others, Hayden won't retire until eventually after 2009, and that i would be certain him happening until eventually he's 40. Kumble would retire if the Indian selectors % that they now not prefer to cut up the captaincy, and supply it to Dhoni finished time. Laxman has continually had question marks over his place (why???) yet is not any the place on the component of retiring. Dravid has a great 365 days forward: he may well be forced into retirement via being dropped. Mohammed Yousuf is plenty from retiring. Ganguly has only effectively rehabilitated his place interior the area, so he won't retire. Muralitharan is pushed via information, and could endeavour to maintain going until eventually he reaches a million,000 try victims. Tendulkar may well be forced to retire by way of injury. I assume the subsequent 3 to retire would be: Vaughan, Kumble and Tendulkar.

Gracie and Maggie need to go. Those are dog names, and I'm still amazed people name their kids that way. Then there's Brittany, Ashley and Hayley, all of which are so overused. I went to college with a girl named Tessa, and I think it's a simple, pretty name. Tessie, however, is not good. Not good at all.

Tessa is a beautiful name. Much better than the made-up ones that are so popular now.

I think Aidan, Madeleine and their various misspellings need to go.

I don't think any names need to be retired. It's a parents perogative to call their kids whatever they want. I personally wouldn't call my kids any of the hugely popular names, like Jessica, Kylie, Daniel (well, I couldn't call him that anyway, it's my brother's name), Michael (even though I love it, it's too darn popular). I probably wouldn't call them any of the names that were really popular around the time of their birth either, coz then they'd end up in a class at school with 3 Ella's lol. (Ella is my cousin's name... she hasn't started school yet but I'm sure when she does she'll have other Ella's in her class). I know what that's like. My name's Rebekah, and in my year level at high school, there were anywhere between 6-8 Rebekahs (two of them are two of my best friends lol). But, in the end, it's up to the parents. If they really like one of the really popular names, then they should use it.

Nevaeh, Candace, Brooklyn, Mackenzie, Morgan, Britney, Jessica, Ashley, Madison, Aidan, Toby, Brent, Shanique, LaToya, Keyoisha..LOL, it would probably take me a long time to write down all the names that need to be retired.
