My baby prefers to sleep in her car seat during the day than anywhere else (apart from on me - but that's hardly practical!) - is this okay, or should I try to discourage this?

I gave birth to my little girl almost 3 weeks ago now. I was in 'back labour' the whole time - no pain in tummy whatsoever but all in my back as baby was facing the wrong way round so her back was rubbing against mine. I had these painful back contractions for 17 hours before actually giving birth, and now 3 weeks later I have really bad back pain. It affects the left hand side bottom of my back, and then goes through left hand side of body through my bottom and the top of leg and causes me to flinch when I walk as it's so painful, and to limp when it's really bad! Do you think I could've done some muscular damage when in labour, or do you think it's something else?

My baby sleeps much better when I put him on the bed with me. He is not breast fed but he seems to sleep much sounder when he is near to me. Do you think it's ok for him to be on the bed? Health visitors & midwifes scared me so much about cot death that I worry if I'm doing the right thing or not. Does any of you co-sleep with your baby?

Refuses to move in with you, are engaged but 6 months down the line still no engagement ring (he is paying uni fees and working and I know doesn't have much money), plans a baby together then when I am complaining because i feel lik ei ma going through it alone says well I knew what I was getting myself into! Refuses to give a date when he will move in and says my house is too small for him to move into...where would his friends sleep when they visit! Has only attended one antenatal visit (and that was a struggle) because his blood was needed to determine threat to baby, never attended a scan, I had 3 because I had a threatened miscarriage at 8 weeks. Hasn't told his family who live abroad about the baby, hasn't contributed anything financially yet to getting ready for baby-I have done all that-thanks god for freecycle and ebay. I'm 6 months now and whilst he showns some interest when he's around I feel alone, I only get to see him 2 evenings a week.

when you have those pains in your left and or right side does that mean your already ovulating or already ovulating?? i have ovulated yet this month so i want to have sex before i have those pains right? thanks in advance :)


one more question i went to babyhopes.com and ordered the LH ovulation strips IF you have used them did they help you? mine are always really faint i just started to use them and i know they have to be equal to or darker than the control line

So my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for so long. I've been trying everything and I dont kno what to do anymore..Im young, i'm only 20 years old and we both got good jobs, have our own house, etc. I just dont know whats going on. I cry all the time about this becuase all I want is a child. I can feel myself getting more and more depressed. I try not to think about it but its not that easy to do. After this month if there is still nothing, i think im going to stop for awhile. I cant keep puttin myself threw this..Has anyone else been threw this and so young like me? i'm not really sure how long my cycle is and when i ovulate but my last period started on the 11th sept 07. 10, 11, 12 and around 15 and 16 days after, my partner and I had sex. On the 30th ( 20 days after period started) I got really bad period cramps and really slight spotting three times when i went to the toilet, altho there was only blood when I wiped, and I thought I was gonna come on but there's been nothing since. it's now day 23, what do you reckon? May I just add that I would be happy to be pregnant but just don't want to fool myself into thinking I am and be disappointed.

consult my ob, and there are irregularities in my hormones, my ob give some advices and i do what she says, in fact i was admitted and take a d&c.after having some laboratories & medicines, i got normal, and my menstruation becomes regular, since me and my husband want a child, my ob monitored my eggs, i have an fft, then after that my doctor injects me for breaking my follicles and she prescribe me to take progynova for my endometrium coz, the last time i have a tvs, my endometrium becomes thin, after that, i folllow what my doctor says, like when to contact,then days past&we're hoping that i get pregnant, but sad to say i have mens for that month( August) that we're expected i'm pregnant. Then, after my mens for august,i had sex with my husband after 10 days of my period,we had sex for 5 days on the second 10 days of my period.After that, i waited for my next period which is on Sept. 16 but then, i was delayed until now. I got a test & it's negative, Am I prgnant?i don't have signs

i have been dizzy, i get head aches and back aches and not only that i just had a uti and i heard your more prone to them when pregnant. i feel different. im six days late and im worried sick.

I am 14 dpo and I tooka test last night and it was very very faint positive (answer brand). Went to the store today and bought a clear blue digital one that came with 2 tests. I also went to the dollar store and bought 3 of their $1 ones. Tonight I took all 3 Dollar store ones (all negative). Then I used the same urine (used a cup) And dipped the digital one in it. It showed up "pregnant". I am going to take the other digital one in the morning when I wake up ....but I was just wondering what you all thought. Could the digital one be wrong or the cheap dollar store ones? Anyonw had this expeerience. Ive been trying to conceive for so long. I have PCOS and Im on my first round of Clomid and metformin every day. I also had an injection of HCG to trigger ovulation and had sex all the days I was suppoe to. I have very sore nipples sice 4 dpo and that same day I had major cramping. The nipples still hurt and the cramping comes once and a while but not as bad as the day it started.

I have only had a clear discharge. I didn't get the usual creamy stretchy thick mucus as usual. Does this mean I didn't ovulate? It was just clear and not sticky, but slippery. AI am having light cramps and the discharge hasn't gone away. I am due for my period around the 12th.

I seriously really hate abortions, its murder. But im 17 live in MA. I already have one child that 4 1/2 months. Im really think and pretty sure that im possible that im pregnant again. i havent seen my period and im hungry/thirsty alot. One of my friend told me that I should get abortion because she thinks i wont be able to take care of 2 babies. I think i can care of them both. its just gunna be harder for me about my schooling. im still in school. my bf thinks i should have abortion because my family is like gunna go after him and start nagging at me that i cant take care of them both. I dont want abortion. Im going to school as much as i can. i dont have a job but im applying everywhere. plus the new one will comes out when im over 18 year. Could my parents force me to have a abortion?

I'm recently remarried and I just found out today I'm pregnant. I don't want to be. Not at all. Not right now anyway. I'm underweight and I'm just tired. I have an almost 2 year old and an almost 4 year old and I'm exhausted daily from them as well as the daily housework. I don't think I can handle having another child. How can I come to accept this? I'm married, and I am religious, so of course I'm not going to harm it in anyway. I just need to figure out how to get rid of this angry, desperate, out of control feeling.
