Me and my dad and my brother went to this store today for like umm off road stuff. There was this really cute ATV that was pink. So i was like Omg dad we have to get this. But he's not getting it for me im so mad. What is a good reason to like get it, beacause i really want it.

My soon-to-be-step-daughter is a Brownie in Girlscouts and I have recently became co-leader. I've noticed that a lot of the moms are Girlscout Moms. They are like soccer moms but instead of saying "Oh my little Jimmy scored 8 goals" they say "Oh my little Sally sold 200 boxes of cookies. SO much more than anyone else." It is becoming really annoying and their kids act the same way bragging about everything and acting all snotty and perfect.

My co-leader is more in charge and has kicked out 3 girls for their poor attitude and we are kicking out another because she's always bragging. I want their to be a more easier way for us to deal with theese girls and parents. Any ideas?

My friend suggested 'Laylah Chase' for a baby girl to me. I think it's very cute, but I don't know just how common it is and I don't like really common names (my name is Alexis which is now extremely popular). WIth my previous labour i rushed to push when the baby's head was crowning, partly because i was afraid that the baby couldnt breathe during crowning (partly because I couldnt take the contractions any more!)

My younger sister called me today and was terrified because she had decided to have sex for the first time and the condom broke! she was crying so much and i told her to relax and try to calm down! i told her she needed to tell our mom so she could maybe get the day after pill! she was like no no i can't tell mom and i was like ally u need to tell her! i don't know what to do! i don't want to call my mom but I don't know what to do. did i tell her the right thing! shes only a junior in high school which is way too young to be pregnant! do u think i did the right thing? what else should i have said! should i drive home for the weekend (i go to college 4 hours away) help!

It's almost time to go outside, the kids that need to go to the bathroom are going, the ones that don't are just waiting, not told to be quiet (dont have to be quiet at this time) some of the kids are making noises with their mouth, like blowing their lips & their lips flap & make that BBBBB sound. (kids just being silly kids to me) the other teacher comes back in the room & says "babies don't do that & you are not a baby, do not do that"
I know it's not a horrible nasty thing to say, but I didn't see the big deal, they are 4 & silly, so what? I also think if she said anything, she should have just said not to do it instead of using the term baby, that annoys me.
Also, when a child gets hurts, like a lil bump, nothing serious, she just says "its ok" I think they need a "im sorry"
maybe Im just a big softy about certain things......

i took my daughter to feed the ducks like we always do i told her its time to go home now the ducks are full up like i always say .... she told me no mummy so i picked her up like i always do and said home time then she nipped my face punched me pulled my hair and screamed all the way through it i put her in the car and told her... you dont hit mummy or pull hair ok now be good

she was great then today she hit my mum so i took her to her room told her that was naughty and she was to give granny a hug and say sorry so she done that turned back into an angel and everything was fine

bed time never a problem before
i said come and put your pj's on for bed i sat her on my knee she told me no punched pulled hair the same as before i wouldnt let her leave my knee i kept her there the whole time and i didnt say anything i kept saying can i take your t-shirt off now she kept hitting then she came round and let me change her with no fuss what would you have done if your child hit you

I constantly worry about my son having autisim. I am always looking for the early signs. He sometimes waves his hands when he is exited, but not always. He dosen't stack or line up things. He dosen't spin wheels on his cars. He has good eye contact. He points at things. He brings me toys to play. He has no clear words exept mama sometimes. Do I have reason to worry or is it just a fear I have. Please help.

My friend's gay and his parents are super-strict Roman Catholics. They hate gay people and he knows this because they've said homophobic stuff before.

So anyway, we were round at his and his dad came into his room and caught him with his boyfriend. He was grounded for a week and they made him promise he would never do it again. But then last week they caught him again, this time it was in the park and they were driving past. They went absolutely crazy and said if he couldn't stop he couldn't live with them. So he's spent the last week staying at friends houses. They said he could come back when he's "come to his senses".

So basically, they just won't accept that he's gay at all. And it's really dumb, because he's still going to the school that they're paying for. My parents are catholic as well, but I'm sure they wouldn't do that to me.

So what should he do? Apologise and try to live with them (I don't really see any way that he can), or just leave home? He's only 16. Any advice?

My son eats now in between 4 1/2oz - 5oz ( both breastmilk and a bit of formula) which i had to move up from 4oz cause he seemed still hungry after havng 4oz. Does this sound ok? Just wondering it just seems to be a lot but he seem satisfied. maybe in another growth spurt?

I am 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. This is my SECOND pregnancy.

I have been having mild period pain all day, and about an hour ago the front of my tummy (around my navel) has gone really quite hard. At first I thought it was a braxton-hicks contraction, but it hasnt really softened. There is quite a bit of pressure there, but no pain yet

I havent had a show and my waters havent broken, but then that never happened with my first pregnancy either!

I WILL phone my midwife if i get really concerned, but I just wanted to see if this rings any bells with anyone first!
