sometimes I feel guilty that I'm a different ''smarter'' person now than I was when I had my first baby and I wish he had the me that I am now when he was a baby!

if you were the you you are today when you had your first baby, you would be another you today and chances are you would want to be the you you are today. make sense? what i'm saying is we can always do better. why not be glad for who we are and improve on that instead of looking back and wishing to change things that aren't going to change. if we spend our time looking back we miss the very thing before our eyes! and then we'll be looking back on those mistakes and wish we could change them. vicious cycle. nobody's perfect! enjoy what ya got and learn from your mistakes so that when you lay your head down at night you'll have no regrets!!

Okay, you should have my second child. She's completely different from my first so I don't feel smarter at all. It's a whole new ballgame.

While we've got a handle on it now, we've really had some money issues in the past. I feel guilty that we haven't been able to do for my kids some of the things that they deserved and had to move them so many times. It would be great if we were a little more financially stable.

I feel guilty when i growl at the kids when it isn't their fault, say, when I didn't have time to fold the laundry and they can't find socks or when they are playing loudly and I'm worn out and want peace and quiet. I try to catch myself but still I do it sometimes.

The only thing you should feel guilty about is something you can change. Otherwise you are wasting your time.

Don't feel guilty. I'm sure you did your best. I was a "starter" baby and I turned out ok. LOL

That makes sense... But going through that experience is what made you who you are now. Catch 22
