Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 October 2007

I asked for advice the other day regarding my wife being a week late. I followed advice and bought a pregnancy test which she took at 3am (first of the day with 8mth baby) It came up neg. She still has bad backache but her tummy keeps tightening when she moves. I know thats an end preg symptom but as she is someone who has terrible period cramps and is in no pain, i was wondering if anyone else has felt this in early pregnancy.

I'm 27 weeks and for the past 2 days, have been having some cramps. It feels like period except maybe a tad worse. It's definately not killing me, but definately does not feel good. They come and go during the day and night. The other night it woke me up. Just curious if this was normal? Thanks!

hi, i was messing around with my BF, and well long story short he c.ame and a lil was on my hand, i wiped it off, one hour later, i got home and i was feeling itchy "down there" (probably cause i didnt shave for a few days) and well i got excited and my fingers were "down there" is there any way that i could get pregnant from that?? i am late like 4 days, but could i be late because i just got sick (a cold) on monday?? does sickness delay ur period, please help..thank u

me and my husband bd on wednesday morning, got my opk positive on thursday night, and bd again on friday night(unfortunatley he worked all night on thursday so no chance of bd) also, i had egg white stretchy cm on friday night when we bd. do you think i missed my "window of opportunity" ? was friday night too late? thanks for your opinions and any info!!

Right, I'm getting really confused with this whole trying to conceive thing! I'm not sure whether I'm pregnant or not at the moment and its too early to tell, so I'm still planning next months conception.
I have bought a supply of Clomid. Now should this be taken on days 3-7 or 5-9?
And will my ovulation predictor kit still work?
And the folic acid....I've heard thats a good herbal remedy?
And with clomid and ovulation predictor kits do I still need to track my BBT?
If I cant do these at the same time, which ones are best?
Please don't say talk to my doctor he is a patronising pig!

When my son was just a little boy< I use to put hidden notes, in his backpack some morning reminding him how much I loved him. I did that so that what ever he may face at school, he would get that extra support of love from me< cause of course I could not be there in his classes with him. But I was there in thought. And when I would pick him up from school. he would have this huge smile, and he would say I got your note. So to me that meant that, he read it and remembered what I said.

That show used to be on like 12 years ago when i was like 4 or 5! I remember it was my favorite show...I know random but I heard someone say Gullah Gullah Island and I was like omg that was my fav show! Anyone else remember it! My daughter is amonth old. and she was burping really well. id sit her up to burp her and shed do it on her own and then id contine to finish burping her. now i try burping her 20 mins n she hardly burps so shes fussy!! and its driving me nuts all i want is a little sleeplol. how do i get her to burp better??

My son is a little over 4 months and since birth I have used a flat positioner to keep him on his back. For a awhile he would flip and sleep on his side which is fine. But know that he has masters how to roll onto his stomach, I always wake up and he is asleep on his stomach. He can easily lift his head now so he should not suffocate.
What I want to know is, should I stop using the positioner since either way he can get onto his stoach now.
Also do anyone elses babies sleep on their stomachs??

My daughter is 7 months and about a month ago she was spitting up alittle bit of her formula but it was like mucus and formula. Now she ia spitting up every 20-30 mins about 10ml of it and as well she has now thrown up her whole 6 ounces twice but not in a row last mon and today so 6 days apart both in the morning feedings.
What do you think?

She told me that she want to name him Jay

so is the name Jay good?

HI, well my friend is going to have a baby boy. So she tot to name him ivan, but the name it self its old, so she wants to name him something more lateest, like ivann or ivyn. you know it have to be sounds like Ivan at the same time!
