Just want to say guys - you don't have
to have kids to sit drawing and colouring.
When my daughters gone to school and its quiet - thats my 'me' time. I either
clean, yahoo or colour. Its so therapeutic!

Well.. I'm not a Mum just yet but as an auntie several times over and I love colouring with my nieces and nephews. It's great how their imaginations work...

It's not just mums and dads who enjoy it, I'm an Aunty to a six year old and a teacher in a primary school and love colouring in, so theraputic. Really good exercise for kids is to get two pictures the same and try to colour them both at the same time with left and right hand, loads of fun and it exercises both sides of the brain at once.

Loved it when my daughter was younger, but now that she's 12 she does all her own drawings and she's pretty good at it. I used to draw a lot, but can never seem to find the time anymore.

Your so right I love colouring even when I'm alone it's really enjoyable way to wile away a few hours also love painting, glueing and so on with my kids too!

I love coloring it's so fun. My daughter goes crazy with a coloring book and crayons. I bought her those Crayola Twistables so she could break them all up. They work great except when she rolls it all the way up and breaks it off. I can't tell you how many boxes of crayons she went through before I got her those.

I haven't done any colouring for a while with my children. I used to love it when I was a child, I used to find it very relaxing.

Not even when I was a child myself. I prefer to do more creative things with my son. He likes to do his own drawing rather than colour in someone elses.

lol, i just finished colouring with my two daughters, did a lovely picture of a yellow and pink sheep, haha. yes i do like this pastime.

i prefer finger painting on large newsprint because we use our hands and feet, get all yacky and multi-colored and have great fun stomping on the paper. by the time we hop under the shower we have had such fun.
only downside is i get to do the clearing up:(
