I know a Jay in school, and he never gets teased. He has a lot of friends to. So dont worry, Jay's a fine name... and who really cares what it means, you know?

Jay is a normal name and I don't think its a name that will cause excessive teasing.
They might tease him because he has red hair or pimples or all sorts of things. Names are the least of a kids worries at school, lol!!
I like the names
Jayson
Jayden
Jamie
Jake
Jacob
If she wants to elaborate on just 'Jay'
best of luck

Jay sounds fone to me. Kids will tease for all sorts of reasons not just a name. Anyone who is a little different can get teased

Jay's good. Its modern, but not crazy.
No matter what you name your child, they will get teased about something - if not their name the other kids will find something else - but Jay isgood.
