Has anyone here experienced a fairly mild placental abruption and been able to return to normal activity? I was just allowed to leave the hospital after monitoring for a few days for bleeding associated with placental abruption. I have been told I may not be able to return to work and will require a minimum of 2 office visits per week. I am around 29 weeks along by the way if that matters. I was just wondering what the chances are that when I go to my next appointment they will let me return to work etc.

Hello all baby name posters,

I am wondering what your opinion is on this match, my uncle and his new wife are having a new baby and her daughter from a previous marriage named the new baby this name(the baby is due in Nov).

Also can you think of any nicknames for Savannah?

was suppose to be here like on sept 25, and she ain't here yet. all the tests i took said negitive, yet i'm having alot of symptoms, i listed them in a previous question but just in case you didn't read that one... i'm experiancing larger breasts, tender nipples, sensitivity to smells, nausea, very few minor headaches, clear odorless vaginal discharge, increased body temp, difficulty falling asleep, frequent urination, and a change in bowel movements. please tell me what's going on with me. i'm kinda scared and i don't have any insurance so i can't run to the doctor anytime i want. my husband and i have been using condoms, but from what i hear they aren't exactly 100% baby proof.

Anyone ever heard of lavender wash/lotion having a negative effect on boys? If so, anyone know a place I can read proof of these findings? It sounds like a wives tale to me. Thanks.

My kids are misbehaving. They heard some bad words in school like ****, ****, and you get the point. So I was thinking to spank them, my parents spanked me before. And give me some examples like how hard, what to use, what position?
Thanks.

My little man has been sleeping 6 hours or more at night since he was 2 weeks old. he gradually got to a point where he did not wake up at all till morning..almost sleeping 12 hours!I started work in september (he was 4 months) and i only work 2 days a week.i am brestfeeding so i would feed him before leaving and when i came home. depending on the shift i would wake him in the morning or at night. for the past week or so he has been waking up about 3 times a night to eat. could my working scheduale have messed him up or could he be going through a growth spurt. oh had he has been on rice cereal for about 2 months and jarred baby food about 2 weeks.

To understand my question, first read my previous question. Today, I embraced him lovely and told him that I am not angry of him at all. When I asked him why he did that, he told me that he wished to suck before I bore my second baby because he saw our neighbour sucking at 4 years old and blamed me why I didn't breastfeed him until the age of 4. He asked me to allow him to suck one time every week for 1 year to respond to his desire. When I told him that it is very bad, he started to cry loudly and say: You don't like me. Will you be tired if you allow me to suck even once ?

She refuses to change into the robe. The will not let the doctor see her. We tried many doctors and neither of them can do a proper exam because she needs to keep on all her clothes. Is this common? Are there tips you have hear of or used?
