Contact your pediatrician or poison control center for more accurate information. Many shampoos are mild, and there should be no problem, but it would be wisest to ask a professional for help. Do as they instruct, observe her for any signs of change, and calm down.

Call your local ER. They will tell you exactly what you need to do. If they need to they will call Poison Control, but in the meantime you will know they are already on the problem. Call them right now!! When my first child was 1 1/2 she drank only a few drops of plant food mixed in water. I called right away anyway and they had me bring her in instantly. We were there for hours. Found out it robs the system of oxygen and could have killed her. Don't mess around with any advice that tells you to do anything less than call.

Call your peditritan and see what she says. Then give her whatever medicine the doc said to take (She'll most likely say peptobismal) and have your daughter lay down. Calm down and keep the shampoo out of reach.

CALL poison control, NOW. The can look up every product and tell you if any of the ingredients are toxic.
Do what they say FIRST, then take to the ER if necessary.
She will probably get some terrific diarrhea tomorrow.
