I Love late afternoon walks... But its 6:00pm and its 70 degrees outside. If I put a good coat, socks, a hat and a blanket , is it OK to take my 6 month old in her stroller with me??

I don't see why not. Fresh air never hurt anybody, and 6 months is not a newborn anymore,so I woudn't worry. Enjoy your walks. Don't over bundle her either, maybe one more layer than you would wear, you don't want her sweating either.

Holy freaking hell. Hat coat blanket.. what is up with that?

LOL, i took my son out in his stroller in january two weeks after he was born. We play outside in shorts and t-shirts in 70 degree weather.

Babies need to be in varied temperatures, their bodies adjust by producing more heat. Theres no difference between their body and yours. The only difference is they cant get up and run around to warm up.

Why on earth would 70 degrees be to cold? Thats what our weather is half the summer around here.

LOL.

Oh my goodness, 70 degrees is the most lovely, comfortable temperature there is! Why would it be too cold?? Take the poor thing out in a short-sleeved onesie and let her body breathe!

Why not wear your baby for your walks? She'll enjoy it a lot more.

Edited to add: you must be in my area if 90 is "pretty cool." LOL It is 76 at 6 pm - almost time for an evening fire in the chiminea - brrrrr!

my ped. told me that my son (4 months at the time) would be fine outside for short amounts of time anywhere over 32 degrees Fahrenheit. as long as he was properly dressed. fresh are is good for everyone especially in colder months when germs can build up in closed up houses and buildings.
