My kids are misbehaving. They heard some bad words in school like ****, ****, and you get the point. So I was thinking to spank them, my parents spanked me before. And give me some examples like how hard, what to use, what position?

Theres nothing wrong spanking a child . But before the slap you have to explain to the child what he had done wrong and after 3 warning a good slap wake them up I raised 5 boys and they had been slap after explaining and warning Its totaly false when they say your kids will hate you mine they are gratefull for having being well raise and they love me a LOT
