I'm 8 months preggy wit a lil girl...what do you think about Jasmyn Emily for a girls name. Please give suggestions if you don't like it.

Her surname will be Woods.

Any suggestions as to the JEW spelling, like changing one of the names

And also, I agree that she/everyone may have problems spelling Jasmyn like that, so Jasmine or Jasmin?

I like Jasmine but I don't like your innovative spelling of it. I prefer standard spellings of names--just a personal preference. Emily is nice. My best friend is named Emily and she is a wonderful woman.

Jasmine Emily is a good choice.

I don't care for the Jasmyn spelling.

I don't like Jasmyn at all...sorry :( BUT...I do like Emily a lot!

What about Emily as a first name?
Emily Grace
Emily Renee
Emily Rose
Emily Kate

If you really want Emily as a middle name...
Candice Emily
Nicole Emily
Brianna Emily
Jessica Emily
Fiona Emily

Good luck and congratulations!

P.S. How often is she really going to use her initials? I don't think the JEW initials is a big deal at all. Use the name you truly love...

Jasmeen Emily I like better

Spelling Jasmine like Jasmyn, does not make it less common

Those names are used alot. Therefore, personally I would like something a little different and unique. Like:
Salome Angelina Woods
Charlotte Rosemary Woods
Krystal Abigail Woods
Lorelie Amberly Woods
Macenzie Charlene Woods
Roanne Penelope Woods
Victoria Jo-oanne Woods
Samantha Nicole Woods
Wendy Rose Marie Woods

Spelling Jasmine with a Y, well, it might cause problems for her in school. She might be one of half a dozen girls with the same spelling. And she'd constantly be spelling it out to people - I have a hard enough time with MY (middle) name, Christina, because in Finland it's usually spelled Kristiina. My seventh grade report card ended up with my name misspelled because my Finnish language teacher thought it was spelt the Finnish way. You don't want this for your kid, do you?

Like the name, prefer the spelling Jasmine or Yasmine and does it really matter what the initials spell out?

Name is lovely
Two things - Will she need to spell it to every one and put up incorrect spellings all her days.
JEW - nothing wrong with being a Jew but initals that spell words can always be problematic.
The sound of the name rolls lovely from the tongue and does have a certain rightness about it!

They are both lovely names, but to me 'Emily Woods' has an ever so slightly nicer ring to it than 'Jasmine Woods'. Also Jasmine Emily Woods spells 'Jew' which may or may not be an issue to some, God bless us all!

It's Jasmine. It's a ridiculously trendy name, but if you're going to use it spell it right.

I don't like it. Try Julianne Emily or Jacqueline Emily.
