Has anybody tried buying "Berkley & Jenses" formula from BJ's? It's much less expensive and it seems almost the same as enfamil. I was wondering if anybody tried it, and if you would recommend it.

We just started using is, our son is 3 months old. We were using regular Enfamil, but it's sooo expensive, so we get more and it's more than ten dollars less, so we gave it a shot...we've had no problems yet, and it's been almost a week.
I still use Enfamil on the go, since I love those pre-made packets...and we use Enfamil A.R. when he has a spit-up kinda day...
but other than that, I'm quite happy with the Bj's brand.

I must say though, it looks more like similac than enfamil, but the container looks more like enfamil...so I don't know if it's generic for similac or enfamil

I wondered this myself because the formula I need for my daughter is super expensive. When I do find a buyer that sells the formula I need, I usually ask questions like where is it/has been stored? How long has it been there? Why are they selling it? What are the expiriation dates? Is there some type of guarantee? Once I get the answers then I make my decision if I should buy it or not. Some sellers have told me that they bought in bulk and ended up changing formula so that's why they are selling it at a cheap price...Some people only buy their formula online like amazon and ebay and some are against it. Just do your homework by asking questions. Good luck!

There is no difference what so ever between name brands and store brands. Infant formula is regulated VERY strictly by the government, and all of them must meet very high standards.

The only differences are when one company adds one extra thing, like dha, and another adds comfort proteins. Its all the same, just different names and different extras. However, even store brands can add those same extras.

Go ahead and buy it. Its perfectly safe.
