or can he just be on cows milk? he is currently on cow and gate next steps, but we have tried him for a week or so just on cows milk and he loves it just as much as his formula,he just gets a bit hungrier, so i was thinking,give him some fruit to snack on instead. would that be okay or does he still need his formula? answers from uk parents only please

My daughter should not be dating until she is 35; she does not understand this. She is 21 and she thinks it's okay for her to date right now. I do not want her dating or having sex until she is 35 because I feel she will be smart enough to know the consequences by then. How do I get her to listen to me?

I am 34 weeks pregnant (almost 35) and have been experiencing numerous braxton hix contractions. I know they say to contact your dr. if you have more than 4 an hour, but I have been having them every 2 minutes. Now I have diareah and the ugly "diareah" feeling in my stomach. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried?

I just looked at a question where someone asked if it is harmful to feed their baby 2% milk. I know you're supposed to give baby formula for the 1st 12 months of their lives, but my kid has been eating solids since she was 6 months old. Every day, morning noon and night. She eats table foods now, practically off all baby food now. I decided to take her off formula since she is taking so good to all foods now. I feed her a very balanced diet every day. I make sure she has her fruits, veggies, dairy, meats, everything every day. She loves her Whole milk. Is that bad that I took her off of formula before 12 months. She's been soley on Whole milk now for about a month. She will be 1 on 10/15/07. She seems so happy, content, and VERY healthy. I know she is gaining weight and she is just so cute and happy. I know everything is o.k. with her health wise, but why is that bad for a baby to give 2% mile before they are 1, even if they are taking well to table foods?

im in 8th grade and i learned that my last year social studies teacher had her baby. today was our first day of school. so she was my teacher 3 monthes ago, she was pregnant then and had told us the day she found out. and that was four monthes before summer vacation. it just made me courious because shes only been pregnant 7 monthes. im just courious if thats too early.

I am 21 weeks, have been extremely nauseas since week 6, but it's finally starting to get a little better...now I just eat all the time because I only feel OK when I am eating - I try to eat small portions and snack on good things besides potato chips and cookies...though I do eat those. I usually have 2 or 3 Sprite's a day too...is all this really bad? If I don't eat a meal every two hours or less I start gagging really bad...anyone else had similar experiences?

I think I am having a girl, just because it's what I think doesn't mean its right. My name is April, so I don't want to name her April. I was thinking Trinity. But if I have a boy, my husband wants to name him Sincere!! I hate that name! Any middle names to go with either Sincere for a boy, or Trinity for a girl?

Has it ever gotten to you that we only bring our children here to suffer. I feel really bad right now, my baby is sick, he has had this rash and it wont go away. And he has had pink eye and I cant get it to go away. I just called home, am at work, and he was just crying so loud that it hurt me so bad. My mom was putting on some rash lotion. The docter told me that we would have to take him to an eye doctor. Am going to and find out when can I take him. As for me, its the worst time to get sick, my side hurts really bad when ever I walk, and my lower abdomen hurt when i urinate(pee), I think am constipated, but am going to try to find time to go to the docter when ever. I work form 8-6 and go to school at night everyday, from 6-8:20. I just feel so overwhelmed. I just regret not ever taken care of myself before, since am just 18 and got pregnant at 17. It hurts to see that my baby is suffering because of my stupidity.
Anyways I really need someone to talk to .

Yeah, this may not be the greatest section for the question, but I figured it would be a bit too ironic to put it in the health section and there isn't an underground drug culture section *yet*. And if you can't answer this question in a mature way, then don't. Don't even waste your time. Going on. I have been offered a line of coke for $10. Not a bad deal. This would be my first time with something of this extent (pot, salvia is been my past). I only plan on doing this once, and seeing how that plan failed with cigarettes, I will only buy a single line and my supply is gone, so I won't be a dumbsh*t and get addicted. So, what's it like my first time? Any precautions? Will I be normal 5 hours later when I come home so my parents won't know (even though I'm 18 they're strict as hell). Will one line get me high but then get off - I don't want to come home and get busted. Thanks for anyone that answered this maturly - I know its not the greatest idea, I've accepted that.

i think EVERYONE'S pretty. honestly, like if i go somewhere, i'd look at someone and be like, "oh, she's pretty." when everyone else would go like, "omg! that girl is so ugly!" and its the same with guys. i have the weirdest taste in guys. i dont like guys everyone else thinks is hot. i mean, i think they're hot, but i wouldnt like them. i go for completely average guys or guys u no one would ever think about liking. i'm even ashamed of telling someone i think a certain guy is cute cuz they're ALWAYS like, "HIM? ew!" do i have something wrong with my brain?

A co-worker just told me what she thought was a "funny" story of her 7 yr old saying that she wanted to start sleeping in between mommy & mommy's new bf. Why? Because she sees new bf having sex with her mommy and she also said she knows they are naked. How does she know? Because she sees them when they get up. She has seen this new bf's penis and commented to her mom that it is big! Am I wrong to think this is a troubled situation?
I personally have never turned anyone in to CPS but I am honestly worried about this little girls well-being.

I babysit for a 6 year old girl and an 8 year old boy who are both generally well behaved. The thing is, their parents are in this rotational social gathering group that meets at their house every few weeks (the others it's elsewhere). When the parents are away, the kids usually work well with me and are pretty obedient, but when the parents are home, they completely defy my authority. What I need to know is things that I can do to keep them occupied so that they won't try to run to their parents. I've tried a lot, but neither of them are very emotionally stable and the younger one is quite a bit smarter, so it's hard to get anything that requires a lot of brain power since he's bound to get jealous. I'm not allowed to take them outside, bake, put on the TV, or anything very loud. I'd be super grateful for some ideas that will keep me from pulling ALL my hair out. =P

I usually run, do yoga, a bit of pilates, swimming, and whatever random thing I can think of...basically, about two hours worth a day, one of swimming or running, and one of whatever else. How can I fit that or something else in while I'm taking care of the little guy? I'd like to take him with my for some things, but I cant spend the money on a jogging stroller, and while the baby yoga seems good for him it does nothing for me...
Any advice? Thank you in advance.
