I am the same. I start each morning with a bowl of cereal. Two hours later at work I have a pc of fruit, 11am some kind of snack(baked potato, frozen burrito....) 12:30-1pm lunch(usually small) 2-3pm snack (chips or more fruit), 6pm dinner(again small). It's ok and eating lots of small meals is good for you anyway, it keeps your blood sugar up and is good for your metabolism. I would try to cut back on the sprite though since it is empty calories(no nutrition).

Lots of caffeine (ie: from the Sprite) is not at all good for you. Research suggests that consistently having more that 300mg of caffeine per day could be related to a higher risk of low birthweight, miscarriage and birth defects, such as cleft palate.
I agree with snacking constantly to make you feel better.... what do you mean when you say "meals" every couple hours? Gaining a ton of weight during pregnancy is also not good for the baby. I've been snacking on a ton of carrots and grapes, it really helps and is much better than chips and cookies (although I get strong cravings for those - learn to say no!! moderation is key). Gaining too much weight raises the risk of having a baby that is too large, which may lead to a difficult delivery or Caesarean section. Greater weight gain in the mother would raise the risk that her toddler would be overweight.

I get unbelievable heartburn if I don't eat every couple of hours! It's horrible, so I imagine feeling ill isn't great either! It's hard to eat good, but get some snacky fruit stuff - like fruit bars and all bran bars, fruit snacks or cups. With the Sprite that is a lot of sugar, try sparkling water instead and maybe find some v8 or other healthy drink alternatives. As you get further along you want to eat smaller meals throughout the day - like 8 meals, to keep your shrinking stomach full and get that food you need, so it's good that you are eating a little all the time.

I'm 19 weeks, and I'm the same way. I feel like snacking all the time, and when I don't eat or drink for a while I tend to get that extra saliva. As long as you have plenty of the good stuff, I don't think a few sodas or potato chips will hurt. And if the doctor hasn't prescribed you a prenatal vitamin, make sure you get some. There are some over the counter vitamins which are just about as good as the rx variety.

I think I eat something at least every hour! Its surprising I'm not the size of a house yet! 8 weeksPG with number 3. I eat good things too but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a few cookies or ice cream. I did here you should can the soda though. Outside of the sugar the carbonation isn't the greatest. I started drinking that vitamin water I'm hooked. It's actually really good and I don't like plain water so it works for me. Dont worry about eating I'm right there with you!

Is it an acid problem? Or a nausea problem?
Either way, you should be done with morning sickness by now. Have you talked to the dr. about this?
If you are nauseous, eating the small meals is the best idea.
If you have acid problems, heartburn, eating the small meals is NOT good because your stomach thinks, "oh, here's food!" and cranks up the production of acid. If this is a problem for you, you need to ask your dr if there's a pill, like nexium or prilosec that you can take to turn off the acid.
Talk to the dr.!

Yes, I am 7 weeks and since my nausea I feel like if I stop snacking I feel awful. If i keep my stomach contantly busy, i feel so much better. So, I try to keep to the good stuff. Baby carrots with ranch, cantaloupe, fruits, applesauce.....etc.
