what on earth is wrong with me? and am not pregnant! i was told to do a test for hyperthyroidism does that make sense to any one?

hypothyroid maybe...you need to go to the doctor, it could be something serious!!!! have you called to make an appointment yet??? call!!!!!!

Do you have any children? If so, and if the bleeding persists until you see the doctor you may have to have a hysterectomy.....My mother had to have one after she had me. She went thru all kinds of procedures to try and stop the bleeding, but it just wouldn't so her doctor decided her best resort would be to have a hysterectomy.....That was her case not yours but hopefully you won't have to have that done, unless that is what you want. best wishes to you and yours

That could be an early sign of cancer. Bleeding like that is not normal and will make you anemic. See a doctor as soon as possible.

Did u lift something heavy when u had your period? It causes it to bleed
