Just found out I was having a boy yesterday. Dad likes Jaylen (I like it too but I think it may be too girly to call an 18 year old boy Jaylen) But I do know some boys named Kaylen. I picked Jayden as an alternative which is not as girly. What do you think? Is Jaylen okay or go with Jayden????

My bf of over 3 years and I broke up in late Feb. of this year…I did something unthinkable and so wrong to him that I’m almost sure that heaven is a no go for me. [I rather not disclose what I did for it is too personal] he’s lost complete trust in me, and is really upset and saddened by what I did to him. More than anything he says I ruined his life…the problem here now is that I am 6 months pregnant with his little girl. He and I have been in constant contact over how to go about handling the situation of our daughter. However, he is so angry and upset with me that he doesn’t want to be a part of her [baby] life, that it would be best if he weren’t involved. I feel the complete opposite. I don’t want him back, but I do feel that for the sake of our daughter he should be involved in her life, no matter what I did, for she should not pay the price for what I did. I’ve told him this but he’s still unsure, confused, hurt and believes that he shouldn’t be involved. I really need advice on what to do, how to go about this, and how to make him see that he should be involved regardless of what I did…please help ASAP!!! Serious answers only…please…thank you

I found a phrase on a baby announcement that I would like to change to work for a baby shower invitation (for a girl).

The phrase is:
The pitter patter
of little feet
Have made our
lives complete!

I still want to use the first two lines "The pitter patter of little feet" but want to change the last two so it would work for a baby shower invitation!!!

Any ideas? Thanks!

I kind of like this name, I think it sounds cool, but people (like my mother) tells me it sounds sort of like a Nazi name (since the name is of German descent). I'm not sure about that...what would you think if you heard it?

i am 38 weeks +4, I asked a question earlier about how did you feel right before you went into labor. Well shortly after asking that question I got an incrediable craving for eggs and bacon. Well I went and cooked them and I got about half way through eating it and I started getting sick now I feel like s*it, the smell of bacon is in my house and it won't go away and it just makes it worse. I feel horrible and I just want this big baby of mine to come out!!! I mean the last time they checked he was almost 10lbs. I hurt I am tired I am sick and I can't stop this urge to clean. No one I know is the least bit sympathetic. I just want to sit down and cry. PLease someone tell me how to make this baby come out now!!! I really don't want to hear the baby will come when he is ready. I already know that.

I was diagnosed with PCOS. My RE put me on Clomid for 50 mg on CD 5-9 for three months. My follies were huge-at 30mm. So he cut my dosage to 25. Follies were still large but I didn't ovulate with that dosage. Has anyone had a similiar problem? If so what meds were you put on?? Is there something out there that's not as strong as Clomid? Thanks

I had my second child on july 2 and she was in the hospital for the first 2 weeks b/c of breathing problems but she is now home. we had been giving her the same formula they were giving her in the hospital but she has started having realllly bad gas that hurts her. I have tried 3 different types of formulas and 4 different types of bottles/nipples as well as Mylacon drops and nothing seems to be helping. She doesnt spit up at all after her meals and she burps just fine but this gas has been getting more and more painful for her. I'm taking her to the doctor of friday but until then any suggestions?? Enfamil, Similac, Goodstart, soy and milk based.... none seem to be helping much..... if you happen to have some advice or home remedy to help ease her gas pain, PLEASE tell me b/c it breaks my heart everytime she cries from being in pain and I don't know how to help it. (I have a toddler as well but she never had gas like this...) Thanks so much for any suggestions!

my baby is two weeks old and today all she has wanted to do is eat eat and eat some more and it seems like my breast just can't keep up with the demand. i haven't really been able to take a minute to eat or drink any water because she has been keeping me busy all day and i know that helps with the milk supply. will it be ok if i substitute a few feedings, like one or two, today with formula to let my breast bulid up a supply of milk for her? or does anyone have other suggestions on what i can do?

My baby is 3 and a half months old - starting from yesterday he's started spilling nearly everything he drinks. He's still having plenty of wet nappies, but hasn't done a poo in 3 days. (a big one anyway).

The main concern is that he's spitting up heaps. Like - a bit amount after feeding, and over the next 3 hours, half curdled milk every 5-10 min.

Is there anything to worry about? he's breastfed.

I have a daughter who is a week off 3 months - she has always been very inquisitive, from day one. She doesn't sleep much during the day and is very aware. She is always curious of her surroundings and stares at everything in wonder.

She has alot of toys, rattles, bright objects, baby-gym with different shapes, electronic play-mat that lights up and sings songs. I talk to her, read to her, sing to her, dance with her, repeat the alphabet, count to her etc. We go out and i chatter away to her pointing out different colours, objects and things etc.

What else can/should i do with her to keep her entertained - especially on cold wet and windy days (winter here) when we are kept indoors?

Thanks.

My son is almost 3 weeks old and he barely cries! The ONLY time he cries is when he's hungry. Other than that, he just squiggles around and lays there looking around when he's awake. He's an EXCELLENT baby. He even got circumsized yesterday and only cried for about 2 hours on a off and ever since that he hasn't cried at all. Is this totally normal? I was expecting a baby that constantly cried, but he's totally surprising me by being an awesome baby. Is everything fine with this?

I don't like children very much, but someday I hope to have a family with children.. have any of you not liked children before you had children but did afterward? I don't want to dislike my children when/if I have them.

Everyone always says that sugar makes kids hyper. But is that true? I let my kids have candy and other sugary deserts, and I don't notice a change in behavior. What do you think?

We are having trouble picking out a theme or kind of party to have for them. My niece gave her children to us, she keeps having children to try and trap a man into a situation, when the man leaves her she gives her child(ren) away! It's sad and we don't speak anymore. But our adoption is almost final and we are trying to plan a party!

My husband I just found out we are pregnant with our second child!!! We have been trying for 4 months and couldn't be happier. A friend of mine is pregnant as well and is only 10 weeks along. We are waiting until the end of next month to do a BBQ with the 4 sets of parents to announce our good news. We are all very close.

Here is my problem there is a family beach trip coming up two weekends from now (the weekend after next) I am afraid I'm going to be sick. How do I keep my pregnancy hidden? I don't want to ruin the surprise. If I don't go they will know something is up. If I go and I am sick they will know something is up for they know we have been trying. I am also someone who very rarely gets sick. My parents also live 5 minutes away so they see/talk to me at least 4 times a week, they know I am fine. Are there any secrets on how to keep my tummy under control? If so PLEASE let me know!!! Thank you for your help.
