Just found out I was having a boy yesterday. Dad likes Jaylen (I like it too but I think it may be too girly to call an 18 year old boy Jaylen) But I do know some boys named Kaylen. I picked Jayden as an alternative which is not as girly. What do you think? Is Jaylen okay or go with Jayden????

Thanks for all of your opinions, BUT for those who think Jayden is too overused, its not nearly as common as Mike, Steve, Daniel, Jason, Brandon, Paul, Kevin...the list goes on. No offense to thgose who have chose those names lol. Just MY opinion. Thqanks again.

My bestfriend is actually having a baby boy in August and naming him Jaylen....weird.
But yea we were talking about the same thing and came to the conclusion that people are gonna end up calling him "Jay" anyways...and Jayden is becoming really common...I like Jaylen

I think Jayden is a great name. I know a little boy named Jaylen and sometimes when I say his name other people don't know if I'm talking about a boy or girl. Also congratulations!!

Ultimately the decision is up to you, but I do like Jayden. I agree with you that Jaylen does sound a little too feminine.

Its not as common as those names you listed as too common because its trashy, the names you listed in additional details are miles better than Jayden. Jayden, Kaylen, and Jaylen are all trashy, dumb, and feminine. Do your baby a favor and go with something classic.

Jayden sounds more masculine to me...i thought jaylen was for if you were having a girl until i read your details ...i also think kaylen sounds girly too..just my thoughts!

I like Jayden for a boy. My son is Hayden. Jaylen is a tad feminine to me.

I like Jayden a lot. Their both different and I like them both, but for a boy I'd go with Jayden.
