I was diagnosed with PCOS. My RE put me on Clomid for 50 mg on CD 5-9 for three months. My follies were huge-at 30mm. So he cut my dosage to 25. Follies were still large but I didn't ovulate with that dosage. Has anyone had a similiar problem? If so what meds were you put on?? Is there something out there that's not as strong as Clomid? Thanks

You should discuss trying Femara with your doctor. It is not for fertility but off-label it is often prescribed like Clomid--5 days early in the cycle. Many women who don't have good success with Clomid find that Femara works wonders.
Also, when you take Clomid so late, days 5-9, it can cause the follies to grow quite large, maybe you need to discuss taking it earlier in your cycle like days 3-7.
Also, if your doctor hasn't done so already, ask him to order a blood test to check your glucose and insulin levels, you may be insulin resistant and need Metformin.
