It's recommended to defrost it in the fridge. Milk in the fridge is good up to 72 hours. If you're going to use it soon and it's not defrosted you can use warm water. It's good at room temp for 4 hours. I always pull milk out of the freezer for my son and he hasn't been sick yet. Just make sure to shake it up first so the cream gets mixed back in. :)

doesn't milk taste better with age. Nothing better than a good old 10 year oak barrel glass of milk. mmmm.... P.S. Did you really have to specify that breast milk was not included??!

I have heard within two days but yes, if you plan on using it withing 24 hours would be better...you want it to be its freshest for your baby.
