Although this seems like a straight foward question, it brings to mind the issue of illegal immigration and the installment of child labor laws. I know it is just pasing out flyers, but some people actually do this for a real occupaiton. Many people complain that illegal immigrants are coming up to take away are jobs because they will work for a lot less money. Child labor laws were installed for the same reason, Children were often forced to work 12-16 hour days to help raise money for the family and get paid pennies on the dollar of what adults were paid. I believe using children to do work is a great thing and helps to teach them responsibility and uses a work/reward system that will instill important values. However, exploiting a child may cause bitterness and lead to a belief that working just isn't worth it. Off my soap box now....

I say give the kid minimum wage. It is a simple job, but he deserves to make what you would pay an adult, don't discriminate based on age, but rather the work that is being done.

that depends on :
- how hot is it ? if it's over 85 F. she should get extra. over 95 and she should get a huge bonus.
- how many fliers must she get out in the hour she has ?
-how heavy is the load ? can she come back for more or take them all when she leaves.
and
-how far must she go.

I would not pay her a penny Less than ..$ 10.00
at that's if the weather is not so hot.

but you should pay more because who else is willing to work for just an hour ? only a kid would take a crappy one hour job.

Why are you making a child pass out flyers? How many hours is this child going to pass out flyers for? Are you this child? Anywayss... pay the kid (or yourself) 3 dollars an hour. good luck =]

around $5-$10

$20.00 for the full hour.

If it's more than one hour, pay $7.50 an hour, but up to $20.00. For a 13 year old kid, $20 really isn't that much, but it would be worth the trouble.

when it comes to passing out fliers it is usually paid per flier. Not per hour. So if you get paid between $o.o3 to $0.05 per flier.what you get paid that hour depends on how many fliers you handed out.
