If they are really sore, oozing, or discolored..then they could be infected...do you have a fever? Those are all sure signs...I dont know if you had them from a c-section or not, it its not, then it may be harder to see them...so just make sure your temp isnt up.

Some of the signs of having an infected stitches are :
foul/bad smelling vaginal discharge, wound is not healing (wound should heal around 4-6 weeks). The most accurate way of knowing if you have infection is to ask your midwife/health care provider for a swab. (They will use
an instrument almost like a cotton bud but it is longer and the bud is bigger and is just on one side then they will wipe it to the area to get a sample)

My baby is four months. I had one stitch and I think it was the most painful thing I have ever felt. It was comperable to her birth. You just have to wait it out. if there is a strange smell or color then get to a doctor. But with my stitch came sore movement, It burned like hell when I went to the bathroom(don't use toilet paper!! That will make it worse.). Good luck that was a lot of stitches.

I would imagine it would be painful.. .Not sore, but painful.. Just keep doing the sitzbath and using your squirt bottle and you shouldn't have too much of a problem.. good luck and be well

You shouldn't have had 100 Stiches, maybe if you had a C-section. 100 stiches wouldn't fit down below otherwise. Go see a doctor or health nurse.

if you have yellow-green discharge, severe odor, and intense pain when peeing you most likely have an infection. if you have these symptoms call your gyno, they will most likely prescribe an anti-biotic
